PCSO uses pari mutel system in calculating Megalotto 6/45 prizes. This means that the actual amount that each winner shall receive depends on the gross sales and number of winners on a certain prize tier.
Below is the latest 6/45 Mega Lotto payout table:
- If you got six (6) numbers of the winning combination in any order, you hit the jackpot for the Mega Lotto game. The top prize starts at PhP 8,910,000.
- If you got five (5) numbers of the winning number combination, you take home the second prize in the amount of PhP 32,000.

How to Play Megalotto 6/45
Before proceeding further, please note that you need to be at least 18 years old to play.
These are the complete steps when playing Mega Lotto:
- Go to the nearest PCSO-authorized lottery agent and grab a betting card with Mega Lotto 6/45 logo.
- Select your 6/45 number combination by marking six (6) out of numbers 1 to 45.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, mark the Lucky Pick (LP) to let the computer automatically choose the number combination for you.
- Optionally pick one of the options in the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can mark more than the usual six number combination.
- For multiple draws, choose the number of succeeding draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
- Give your betting card and corresponding payment to the teller and get your ticket once it is generated.
- View the 6/45 Lotto Result after the 9:00 pm scheduled draw to know if you got the winning number combination.
Each Mega Lotto combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the the Lotto 6/45 ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your Megalotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets need to be machine-validated when claiming prizes.
You can even play your selected numbers up to six consecutive draws in advance by marking the preferred number of draws in DRAW column on the playslip. If an error is made, mark the VOID box to indicate that the board is cancelled.
New Guidelines to be Observed by Bettors when Playing 6/45 Lotto
PCSO has implemented the rules below to be followed by 6/45 Lotto bettors nationwide.
- Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors with no face mask will not be permitted to place 6/45 Lotto bets.
- Follow social distancing when buying 6/45 Lotto tickets.
- Use your own ball pen to reduce the risk of catching the virus.
- Use the money tray to reduce physical contact.
- Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Hand sanitizers or alcohols are available in the betting area.
- Use the garbage cans provided to put away used bet slips and/or non-winning lotto tickets.
Megalotto 6/45 System Plays – Increase your Odds of Winning the Jackpot
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates multiple combinations of your chosen numbers.
The available system bets in 6/45 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
A total of seven (7) combinations are produced in System 7 because a player who marks this option would need to choose seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the player will have to pick a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.
To sum up, more and more number combinations are created as the selected numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.
With regard to System 5R, you only have to pick five (5) numbers instead of the usual six-number combination. The remaining unmarked numbers in the play slip (40 in all) will be matched with the 5 numbers you chose, thus producing 40 six-number combinations in total.
Keep in mind that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall ticket cost will be. The total ticket cost is PhP 20 times the number of combinations created.

How do I win a prize in 6/45 Mega Lotto?
You win a prize by getting at least three (3) numbers of the winning Mega Lotto combination. The more matching numbers, the bigger the prizes you will receive.
Matching three (3) of the winning combination wins you PhP 30, four (4) matching numbers gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) numbers wins you a prize equal to PhP 32,000.
If you got all the winning numbers, you get the jackpot prize which begins at PhP 8.9 Million.
You can increase your chances of getting the jackpot by choosing up to 12 numbers using a system bet. This type of bet creates a bigger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
The system plays you can choose from are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket cost shall depend on the overall number of created combinations.

How to Play System 11 in 6/45 Lotto?
System 11 allows you to choose a eleven (11) number combination instead of the usual combination comprised of six (6) numbers. This type of 6/45 Mega Lotto system play generates a total of 462 combinations and costs PhP 9,240 (Php 20 x 462 combinations).
To play System 11, simply pick your preferred 11-number combination and then mark the number 11 in the SYS section of the 6/45 Lotto bet card.
What is Documentary Stamps Tax?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
Does PCSO have lotto draws during holidays?
PCSO generally suspends its lotto draws during regular holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO modifies its draw schedule in such a way that all draws are completed early in the afternoon.

March 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the public to not to patronize persons and entities claiming to be employees of PCSO and luring them to purchase lotto tickets online using their platform. To date, the agency has no online betting platform yet whether through an app, text or calls.
January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 4-Digit and 6-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO announces the return of the PhP 20 ticket price of its major lotto games. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 after the TRAIN Law took effect.
