6/45 Megalotto is a game of six numbers from One (1) to Forty-Five (45). It was launched in 1997 and has since became one of the hugely popular lotteries in the Philippines. PCSO uses a payout system for Megalotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lotto bets in a certain draw, then split the pool by the total number of winners.
The following are the different prizes for each level of the Mega Lotto payout structure:
- If you got six (6) numbers of the winning combination in any order, you hit the current jackpot for the Lotto 6/45 game. The top prize begins at PhP 8,910,000.
- If you got five (5) numbers of the winning number combination, you win a second prize worth PhP 32,000.
- If you got four (4) numbers of the winning number combination, you get a fixed amount of PhP 1,000.
- Getting three (3) out of the six (6) numbers drawn wins you a prize of PhP 30.

- Choose six (6) numbers between 1 to 45. These digits will be your 6/45 Lotto combination.
- Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option allows the computer to randomly generate the numbers for you.
- Improve your chances of hitting the jackpot through the 6/45 Lotto System Play.
- Choose the number of consecutive draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
- Check the 6/45 Lotto Result after the 9:00 pm live draw to see if you matched the winning number combination.
One 6/45 Mega Lotto combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket. Keep it in a secure and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, soak in water or write anything on your Megalotto 6/45 ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets need to be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.

Mega Lotto System Bets – How to Increase your Odds of Winning
6/45 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
The available system plays in 6/45 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In System 7, a bettor selects seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the player selects a total of eight (8) numbers producing a total of 28 combinations.
The overall number of combinations increases as the marked numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In the case of System 5-Roll, the player will only have to pick five (5) numbers. The remaining (unmarked) 40 numbers will be paired with the 5 picked numbers. This generates a total of 40 combinations.
Please note that your total ticket cost will be much higher in system plays because of the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The total cost of the ticket shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations produced.

How do I win a prize in 6/45 Mega Lotto?
You win a prize in Lotto 6/45 by matching at least three (3) drawn numbers in any order. Higher prizes awaits those who will match four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.
If you match three (3) out of the six (6) winning numbers, you win PhP 30, four (4) out of six (6) wins you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a fixed prize equal to PhP 32,000.
If you match all the winning numbers, you get the jackpot prize which begins at PhP 8.91 Million.
You can increase your odds of getting the jackpot by marking up to 12 numbers using a system bet. This type of bet creates a bigger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
The price of tickets in system plays depend on the overall number of combinations generated.

What is Documentary Stamps Tax?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
How can I choose more than 6 numbers in the 6/45 Lotto bet slip?
You can select more than 6 numbers by playing any of the system plays for Lotto 6/45. You can choose from System 7 (7 numbers), System 8 (8 numbers), System 9 (8 numbers), System 10 (10 numbers), System 11 (11 numbers) and System 12 (12 numbers).
You can also mark only 5 numbers using the System 5-Roll. Take note that the total number of combinations is considered when computing the total ticket price.
For instance, a System 7 play costs PhP 140 because it produces 7 combinations in all.
How many combinations are there in System 12 for 6/45 Mega Lotto?
System 12 is the Lotto 6/45 system play that lets players to choose a total of twelve (12) numbers instead of the regular six (6) numbers. This play type produces 924 combinations in all and costs PhP 18,480 (Php 20 x 924 combinations).
To play System 12, just select your preferred 12-number combination and then mark the number 12 in the SYS column of the 6/45 Lotto bet slip.
How many Advance Draws can I play in Lotto 6/45?
You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the present draw. To play in advance, just select your desired number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the bet card. Your 6/45 Megalotto entry shall then be played multiple times according to the number of draws you marked.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Mega Lotto 6/45 entry shall be valid for the six (6) consecutive 6/45 Mega Lotto draws including the present draw.
How to Play System 5R in 6/45 Lotto?
System 5R (5-Roll) is the Mega Lotto system bet which allows the player to select only five (5) numbers instead of the default 6 number combination.
To complete the combination, the system automatically pairs each of the remaining 40 “unmarked” numbers in the play card to the five numbers you already marked.
This creates a total of 40 combinations and guarantees that you will get at least one (1) winning number in your combinations.
System 5R costs Php 800 (Php 20 x 40).
To play System 5R, simply pick your preferred 5-number combination and then mark 5R in the SYS panel of the 6/45 Lotto bet card.

March 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the public to not to patronize persons and entities claiming to be employees of PCSO and luring them to purchase tickets online using their platform. To date, the agency has no online betting system yet whether through an app, text or calls.
