Before proceeding further, note that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play.
These are the detailed steps when playing Megalotto:
- Go to a lottery outlet authorized by PCSO and look for the Mega Lotto 6/45 betting card.
- Select your 6/45 number combination by marking six (6) out of numbers 1 to 45.
- If you can’t think of any number combination, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to let the system randomly choose the numbers for you.
- Increase your odds of hitting the jackpot through the 6/45 Lotto System Play.
- For Advance Plays, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw section.
- Give your play slip and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket after it is printed.
- See the 6/45 Lotto Result after the scheduled draw to know if your ticket matches the winning number combination.
One Megalotto 6/45 combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of the Megalotto 6/45 ticket and keep it in safe and dry place.
Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your Mega Lotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets must be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.
You can even play your selected numbers up to six consecutive draws in advance by marking the preferred number of draws in DRAW column on the playslip. If an error is made, mark the VOID box to indicate that the board is cancelled.

Mega Lotto 6/45 System Bets – Increase the Odds of Winning the Jackpot
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.
The system bets available in 6/45 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a player who picks this option would need to choose seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the player will need to pick a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.
The more numbers picked, the higher the number of combinations produced. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
With regard to System 5-Roll, you only have to mark five (5) numbers instead of the regular six-number combination. The remaining unmarked numbers in the bet slip (40 in all) will be combined with the 5 numbers you marked, thus creating 40 six-number combinations in total.
Please note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total bet cost will be. The total ticket price is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

How do I win a prize in 6/45 Mega Lotto?
You win a prize by getting at least three (3) numbers of the winning Megalotto 6/45 number combination. The more matching numbers, the bigger the prizes you will win.
If you got three (3) out of six (6), you take home PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a fixed prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 32,000.
If you got all the six (6) winning numbers correctly, you get the jackpot prize of at least PhP 8.9 Million.
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot by selecting up to 12 numbers using a system play. This type of bet creates a larger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
The system plays you can select from are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket cost shall be based on the total number of created combinations.

What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
How many combinations are there in System 11 for 6/45 Mega Lotto?
System 11 allows you to select a eleven (11) number combination instead of the regular combination composed of six (6) numbers. This type of Mega Lotto 6/45 system play generates a total of 462 combinations and costs PhP 9,240 (Php 20 x 462 combinations).
To play System 11, simply pick your preferred 11-number combination and then mark the number 11 in the SYS section of the 6/45 Lotto bet card.

March 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. PCSO said it has no such platform yet in place that will support such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major games. Ticket prices were previously increased to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Law.
