PCSO uses a payout structure for 6/45 Megalotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ betting system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a given draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.
The following is the updated prize levels of the Megalotto:
- If your number matches six (6) out of the six (6) winning numbers in any order, you take home the jackpot prize for the Mega Lotto 6/45 game. Starting jackpot is PhP 8,910,000 but this amount gets larger every time no one gets the jackpot.

Mega Lotto 6/45 System Bets – Ways to Improve your Chances of Winning the Jackpot
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates multiple combinations of your chosen numbers.
The system bets available in 6/45 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a player who marks this option would have to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are created because the player will have to select a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.
The more numbers picked, the higher the number of combinations produced. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
With regard to System 5-Roll, a player picks only five (5) numbers and—for the sixth number—pairs these off with each of the remaining forty (40) numbers, creating a total of 40 six-number combinations.
Keep in mind that your overall bet cost will be much higher in system plays because of the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The overall price of the ticket shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

If you got three (3) out of six (6), you win PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a fixed prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize worth PhP 32,000.
If you got all the six (6) numbers correctly, you receive the jackpot prize of no less than PhP 8.91 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system play. This option allows you to pick up to 12 numbers instead of just 6, thus producing a higher number of combinations.

March 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. PCSO confirms it has no such platform yet in place that will support such transactions.
