The prize that each winner gets depend on the aggregate number of winners as well as gross sales. PCSO employs a prize structure for Lotto 6/45 based on this pari mutuel wagering system.

- If you got six (6) numbers of the winning number combination in any order, you take home the current jackpot for the Megalotto game. The top prize starts at PhP 8,910,000.

Before you go any further, please note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play.

- Go to the nearest authorized PCSO lotto outlet and look for a betting card with Mega Lotto 6/45 logo.
- Mark six (6) numbers between 1 to 45. These digits will be your 6/45 Lotto combination.
- If you can’t think of any number combination, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to let the system randomly select the numbers for you.
- You can also select up to twelve (12) numbers through the 6/45 Lotto System Play to raise your odds of hitting the jackpot.
- For Advance Plays, mark the number of succeeding draws in the Draw section.
- Hand over your playing card and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
- After the draw, check the 6/45 Lotto Result to know if you won the prize.
Each Lotto 6/45 number combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total play amount would range from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the total number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the the Lotto 6/45 ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your 6/45 Mega Lotto ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize.

6/45 Mega Lotto System Bets – Improve your Odds of Winning the Jackpot
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and creates several combinations of your chosen numbers.
If you want to play system plays, these are the options you can select from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
With System 7, a bettor selects seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the bettor chooses eight (8) numbers, creating a total of 28 combinations.
To sum it up, more and more number combinations are generated as the marked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.
In the case of System 5-Roll, you only have to pick five (5) numbers instead of the regular six-number combination. The remaining unmarked numbers in the play slip (40 in all) will be matched with the 5 numbers you marked, thus producing 40 combinations in total.
Note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall ticket cost will be. The overall ticket cost is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

How do I win a prize in 6/45 Mega Lotto?
In 6/45 Megalotto, you win a prize by getting at least three (3) out of the six (6) drawn numbers. More matching number means bigger prizes for you.
If you got three (3) out of six (6), you take home PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a fixed amount equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize worth PhP 32,000.
If you match all the numbers, you win the jackpot prize which starts at PhP 8.9 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system bet. This option allows you to pick up to 12 numbers rather than just 6, thereby producing a higher number of combinations.
The system plays you can choose from are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
The price of tickets in system plays depend on the total number of combinations created.

System 8 is the 6/45 Megalotto system play that allows players to pick a total of eight (8) numbers instead of the typical six (6) numbers. This play type generates 28 combinations in all and costs PhP 560 (Php 20 x 28 combinations).
To play System 8, just select your preferred 8-number combination and then mark the number 8 in the SYS column of the 6/45 Lotto playing card.
What is Documentary Stamps Tax?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
Are minors allowed to play 6/45 Mega Lotto?
PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play the 6/45 Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place because of the current COVID-19 epidemic.
