Megalotto is a game of six numbers from One (1) to Forty-Five (45). It was introduced in 1997 and has since became one of the extremely popular lotteries in the Philippines. PCSO uses a payout system for 6/45 Mega Lotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a certain draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.
The following is the updated Megalotto 6/45 payout table:
- In case your combination matches six (6) out of the six (6) numbers drawn in any order, you hit the jackpot for the Megalotto 6/45 game. Initial jackpot is PhP 8,910,000 but this amount gets bigger every time nobody gets the jackpot.
- If your combination matches five (5) out of the six (6) winning numbers, you win the fixed prize worth PhP 32,000.

- Pick six (6) numbers between 1 to 45. These digits will be your 6/45 Lotto combination.
- Mark LP (Lucky Pick) if you want the system to randomly select the numbers for you.
- You can also select up to twelve (12) numbers using the 6/45 Lotto System Play to raise your chances of hitting the jackpot.
- For multiple draws, choose the number of succeeding draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Hand over your play card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket once it is generated.
- After the draw, see the 6/45 Lotto Result to verify if you won the prize.
One 6/45 Lotto combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the 6/45 Mega Lotto ticket. Store it in a secure and dry place.
Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets must be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.

New PCSO Regulations to be Observed when Playing Lotto 6/45
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following protocol in all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors without face mask will not be permitted to place 6/45 Lotto bets.
- Follow physical distancing when placing 6/45 Lotto bets.
- Use your own ball pen when purchasing lotto tickets.
- Use the money tray to decrease physical contact.
- Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Alcohol or hand sanitizers are available in the betting area.
- Avoid littering and throw away any used play card or non-winning tickets in the trash cans.
6/45 Mega Lotto System Plays – Increase the Odds of Winning the Jackpot
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the choices available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a player who picks this option would have to mark seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the bettor will have to mark a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.
The more numbers picked, the higher the number of combinations generated. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
With regard to System 5R, a bettor selects only five (5) numbers and—for the sixth number—pairs these off with each of the remaining forty (40) numbers, generating a total of 40 combinations.
Please note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall bet cost will be. The total ticket price is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

How to win a prize in Lotto 6/45?
You win a prize in 6/45 Mega Lotto by matching at least three (3) winning numbers in any order. Higher prizes awaits those who will match four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.
If you got three (3) out of six (6), you receive PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 32,000.
If you got all the six (6) numbers correctly, you receive the jackpot prize of no less than PhP 8.9 Million.
You can boost your chances of winning by opting for a system play. With this option, you can choose up to 12 numbers per column in the play slip, thereby producing up to 924 combinations.
There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
The price of tickets in system plays depend on the overall number of combinations generated.

Who are allowed to play Lotto 6/45?
Only persons 18 years old and above are allowed to play the 6/45 Mega Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place owing to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
How to Play System 8 in 6/45 Lotto?
System 8 is the 6/45 Megalotto system bet that allows bettors to select a total of eight (8) numbers instead of the default six (6) numbers. This play type creates 28 combinations in all and costs PhP 560 (Php 20 x 28 combinations).
To play System 8, simply pick your preferred 8-number combination and then mark the number 8 in the SYS panel of the 6/45 Lotto bet card.
What if I made a mistake in marking my 6/45 Lotto numbers?
To cancel or disregard a specific 6/45 Mega Lotto entry, mark the VOID directly below it before handing over the play card to the teller.
Please note that you can only void your Megalotto 6/45 number combination before purchasing the ticket. Any 6/45 Lotto entry that has been printed by the terminal can no longer be canceled or voided.
Can I mark more than 6 numbers in the Lotto 6/45 play slip?
You can select more than 6 numbers by playing any of the system plays for Megalotto 6/45. You can choose from System 7 (7 numbers), System 8 (8 numbers), System 9 (8 numbers), System 10 (10 numbers), System 11 (11 numbers) and System 12 (12 numbers).

A bettor can buy the Mega Lotto ticket for 20 Pesos per number combination at the nearest authorized PCSO lotto outlet. This amount is inclusive of the Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements
March 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the betting public to not to patronize persons and entities claiming to be part of PCSO and luring them to buy lotto tickets online using their platform. To date, PCSO has no online betting system yet whether through an app, text or calls.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 6D and 4D Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto operation on August 4, 2020.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major lotto games. Ticket prices were previously increased to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Act.
