PCSO uses a prize system for 6/45 Mega Lotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lotto bets in a given draw, then split the pool by the total number of winners.

- Pick six (6) digits that will compose your 6/45 Lotto combination. You can select from numbers 1 to 45.
- Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option instructs the system to randomly choose the numbers for you.
- Increase your chances of winning the jackpot through the 6/45 Lotto System Play.
- If you want to play multiple draws, mark the number of succeeding draws in the Draw panel.

Each Lotto 6/45 combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total bet amount would vary from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Lotto 6/45 System Bets – Increase the Chances of Winning the Jackpot
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates several combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the options available in case you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
In System 7, a bettor selects seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the player picks a total of eight (8) numbers generating a total of 28 combinations.
The more numbers picked, the higher the number of combinations produced. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
With System 5R, you only select five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5R, the 5 numbers you have selected are automatically partnered with each of the remaining 40 digits in the playing card, producing a total of 40 six-number combinations.
Please note that your overall bet cost will be much higher in system bets due to the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The overall price of the ticket shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

How do I win a prize in 6/45 Mega Lotto?
You win a prize in 6/45 Megalotto by matching at least three (3) winning numbers in any order. Bigger prizes awaits those who will get four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.
If you match three (3) out of six (6), you take home PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a fixed amount equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize worth PhP 32,000.
If you match all the winning numbers, you get the jackpot prize which begins at PhP 8.9 Million.
You can improve your chances of winning by playing a system play. With this option, you can select up to 12 numbers per column in the bet slip, thereby producing up to 924 number combinations.
You can choose from seven available system plays. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket price is PhP 20 times the overall number of generated combinations.

How many combinations are there in System 5R for 6/45 Mega Lotto?
System 5R (5-Roll) is the Mega Lotto system bet that allows the player to select only five (5) numbers instead of the typical 6 number combination.
To complete the combination, the computer automatically pairs each of the remaining 40 “unmarked” numbers in the playing card to the five numbers you already marked.
This generates a total of 40 combinations and guarantees that you will get at least one (1) winning number in your combinations.
System 5R costs Php 800 (Php 20 x 40).
To play System 5R, simply pick your preferred 5-number combination and then mark 5R in the SYS column of the 6/45 Lotto play card.
Can I play Mega Lotto 6/45 in Advance?
You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the present draw. To play in advance, just pick your preferred number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the bet slip. Your 6/45 Lotto combination will then be played repeatedly according to the number of draws you picked.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Megalotto entry shall be valid for the six (6) consecutive Mega Lotto 6/45 draws including the current draw.
What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
How to Play System 12 in 6/45 Lotto?
System 12 is the Mega Lotto system play that lets bettors to pick a total of twelve (12) numbers instead of the usual six (6) numbers. This play type creates 924 combinations in all and costs PhP 18,480 (Php 20 x 924 combinations).
To play System 12, simply pick your preferred 12-number combination and then mark the number 12 in the SYS section of the 6/45 Lotto betting card.
How do I Play Mega Lotto 6/45 System 9?
System 9 lets you to pick a nine (9) number combination instead of the default combination comprised of six (6) numbers. This type of Mega Lotto 6/45 system bet generates a total of 84 combinations and costs PhP 1,680 (Php 20 x 84 combinations).

March 10, 2021– PCSO warns the betting public against buying tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. The agency states it has no such system yet in place that will support such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 4-Digit and 6-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
