Before continuing, keep in mind that only 18 years old and above are allowed to play.
Here’s how you can play the Megalotto:
- Go to the nearest authorized PCSO lottery agent and get a betting card with Mega Lotto 6/45 logo.
- Pick a combination of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Five (45) in each column of the play card.
- Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option instructs the terminal to randomly pick the number combination for you.
- You can also increase your odds of winning using the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can pick more than the usual six (6) numbers thus increasing your total number combinations.
- If you want to play multiple draws, select the number of consecutive draws in the Draw section.
- Pay the total ticket price to the teller and get your printed ticket.
- After the draw, view the 6/45 Lotto Result to know if you won the prize.
One 6/45 Mega Lotto number combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the Lotto 6/45 ticket. Store it in a secure and dry place.

Megalotto System Plays – Improve your Odds of Winning the Jackpot
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates several combinations of your chosen numbers.
If you want to play system bets, these are the options you can select from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In System 7, a player selects seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the player selects a total of eight (8) numbers producing a total of 28 combinations.
The overall number of combinations increases as the marked numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In System 5-Roll, you only need to select five (5) numbers instead of the typical six-number combination. The remaining unmarked numbers in the play slip (40 in all) will be combined with the 5 numbers you picked, thus producing 40 combinations in all.
Note that your total bet cost will be much higher in system bets due to the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The overall ticket price shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations produced.

What are the ways to win in 6/45 Lotto?
You win a prize in Megalotto by matching at least three (3) winning numbers in any order. Higher prizes awaits those who will match four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.
Getting three (3) of the winning number combination gives you PhP 30, four (4) matching numbers wins you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) numbers wins you a fixed prize equal to PhP 32,000.
Matching all the winning numbers wins you the jackpot prize worth no less than PhP 8.9 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system bet. This option allows you to select up to 12 numbers rather than just 6, thus producing a larger number of combinations.
You can choose from seven available system plays. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
The cost of tickets in system plays depend on the total number of combinations generated.

What is SYS 11 in Lotto 6/45?
System 11 allows you to choose a eleven (11) number combination instead of the regular combination comprised of six (6) numbers. This type of Mega Lotto system play generates a total of 462 combinations and costs PhP 9,240 (Php 20 x 462 combinations).
To play System 11, simply pick your preferred 11-number combination and then mark the number 11 in the SYS section of the 6/45 Lotto play card.
How many 6/45 Lotto draws can I play in advance?
You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the current draw. To play in advance, just select your desired number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the betting card. Your Mega Lotto combination will then be played multiple times according to the number of draws you marked.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen 6/45 Megalotto combination will be valid for the six (6) consecutive 6/45 Megalotto draws including the present draw.
How do I choose Lucky Pick in 6/45 Mega Lotto?
The Lucky Pick or LP option lets the computer to automatically pick the Mega Lotto 6/45 number combination for you if you do not have any number in mind.

What is Documentary Stamps Tax?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
Are minors allowed to play 6/45 Mega Lotto?
PCSO only allows persons aged 18 and above to play the Mega Lotto 6/45. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place owing to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

March 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the betting public to not to patronize persons and entities claiming to be part of PCSO and luring them to buy tickets online using their platform. To date, PCSO has no online betting system yet whether through an app, text or calls.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 4-Digit and 6-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto draws starting August 4, 2020.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major lotto games. Ticket prices were previously increased to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Act.
