PCSO employs a payout structure for Mega Lotto 6/45 based on ‘pari mutuel’ system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lotto bets in a given draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.

- If you got six (6) numbers of the winning number combination in any order, you take home the latest jackpot prize for the 6/45 Megalotto game. The top prize starts at PhP 8,910,000.

- Optionally pick one of the options in the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can pick more than the regular six number combination.
- For Advance Plays, select the number of succeeding draws in the Draw section.
- Hand over your play slip and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket once it is printed.
- After the draw, check the 6/45 Lotto Result to see if you won the prize.
Each Megalotto combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total play amount would range from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your 6/45 Megalotto ticket. Store it in a secure and dry place.
Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your Megalotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets need to be machine-validated when claiming prizes.

Lotto 6/45 System Plays – How to Improve your Chances of Winning the Jackpot
6/45 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
In case you want to play system bets, these are the options you can choose from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In System 7, a bettor selects seven (7) numbers which creates a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the bettor picks a total of eight (8) numbers generating a total of 28 combinations.
The more numbers marked, the higher the number of combinations produced. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
In System 5-Roll, you only need to choose five (5) numbers instead of the usual six-number combination. The remaining unselected numbers in the play slip (40 in all) will be matched with the 5 numbers you chose, thus generating 40 six-number combinations in all.
Please remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total bet cost will be. The total cost of the ticket is PhP 20 times the number of combinations created.

What is Documentary Stamps Tax?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

March 10, 2021– PCSO warns the betting public against buying tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. The agency said it has no such platform yet in place that will support such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 4D and 6D Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major games. Ticket prices were previously raised to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Law.
