How to Play Mega Lotto 6/45
Before proceeding further, please remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play.
These are the complete steps when playing Mega Lotto 6/45:
- Go to a lotto outlet authorized by PCSO near you and look for the Mega Lotto 6/45 play card.
- Mark six (6) digits that will comprise your 6/45 Lotto combination. You can select from numbers 1 to 45.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to let the terminal generate the number combination for you.
- You can also raise your chances of winning using the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can pick more than the usual six (6) numbers thus increasing your total number combinations.
- If you want to join multiple draws, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw section.
- Give your play slip and payment to the cashier and get your generated ticket once printed.
- After the draw, access the 6/45 Lotto Result to verify if you won the prize.
Each Megalotto 6/45 combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total bet amount would vary from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the total number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the Mega Lotto ticket. Store it in a safe and dry place.
Your 6/45 Lotto ticket needs to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.
To win the Jackpot, you must match all 6 numbers. The Initial Jackpot Prize (IJP) for Megalotto 6/45 is 8,910,000.00 (net of agent’s prize commission). If no one wins the jackpot in a particular MegaLotto 6/45 draw, the prize amount is carried forward into the next MegaLotto 6/45 draw. If there is more than one jackpot winner, the Jackpot prize will then be divided equally among all the winners.

Megalotto System Plays – Improve the Chances of Winning
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces several combinations of your chosen numbers.
The available system plays in 6/45 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In System 7, a player selects seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the bettor selects a total of eight (8) numbers creating a total of 28 combinations.
In essence, more and more number combinations are created as the selected numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.
In System 5-Roll, a player marks only five (5) numbers and—for the sixth number—pairs these off with each of the remaining forty (40) numbers, producing a total of 40 combinations.
Note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total ticket cost will be. The overall ticket cost is PhP 20 times the number of combinations produced.

How do I win a prize in 6/45 Mega Lotto?
You win a prize by matching at least three (3) numbers of the winning 6/45 Lotto number combination. The more matching numbers, the bigger the prizes you will receive.
If you got three (3) out of the six (6) drawn numbers, you get PhP 30, four (4) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) wins you a fixed amount equal to PhP 32,000.
If you got all the six (6) numbers correctly, you win the jackpot prize of at least PhP 8.91 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system play. This option allows you to pick up to 12 numbers instead of just 6, thus generating a bigger number of combinations.
There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket cost is PhP 20 times the overall number of produced combinations.

What is Documentary Stamps Tax?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
How do I correct the numbers I entered in the Mega Lotto 6/45 bet slip?
To cancel or disregard a specific 6/45 Lotto number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the play card to the cashier.
Please note that you can only void your 6/45 Mega Lotto entry before purchasing the ticket. Any Mega Lotto entry that has been accepted by the terminal can no longer be voided or canceled.
Did I win the jackpot if I got ALL the 6/45 Mega Lotto winning numbers but not in exact order?
You win the jackpot if you get all the 6/45 Mega Lotto winning numbers even if they are not in the same order as the offical 6/45 Lotto Results.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements
March 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the public against purchasing lotto tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. PCSO confirms it has no such platform yet in place that will support such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 4D and 6D Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto operation starting August 4, 2020.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major games. Ticket prices were previously increased to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Act.
