PCSO uses a prize structure for Mega Lotto 6/45 based on ‘pari mutuel’ wagering system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a given draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.

Each 6/45 Mega Lotto combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total play amount would range from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your 6/45 Lotto ticket and store it in safe and dry place.

Megalotto 6/45 System Bets – Increase the Odds of Winning the Jackpot
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates several combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the choices available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a player who picks this option would have to mark seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the bettor will have to pick a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.
To sum up, more and more number combinations are produced as the marked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.
In System 5-Roll, you only mark five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5R, the 5 numbers you have chosen are automatically partnered with each of the remaining 40 digits in the bet slip, producing a total of 40 six-number combinations.
Please note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall ticket cost will be. The total ticket price is PhP 20 times the number of combinations generated.

How to win a prize in Lotto 6/45?
You win a prize by getting at least three (3) numbers of the winning 6/45 Mega Lotto combination. The more matching numbers, the higher the prizes you will get.
If you match three (3) out of six (6), you receive PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 32,000.
If you got all the six (6) numbers correctly, you take home the jackpot prize of at least PhP 8.91 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system bet. This option allows you to pick up to 12 numbers instead of just 6, thus generating a bigger number of combinations.
The system plays you can select from are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
