PCSO uses a prize system for Mega Lotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a given draw, then split the pool by the total number of winners.
The following is the Mega Lotto 6/45 payout system:
- If you got six (6) numbers of the winning combination in any order, you hit the current jackpot prize for the Lotto 6/45 game. The top prize starts at PhP 8,910,000.
- If you got five (5) numbers of the winning combination, you get the prize worth PhP 32,000.
- If you got four (4) numbers of the winning number combination, you get a fixed amount of PhP 1,000.
- In case you got three (3) numbers of the winning number combination, you get a prize worth PhP 30.

- Optionally select one of the options under the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can choose more than the usual six number combination.
- If you want to play multiple draws, select the number of succeeding draws in the Draw section.
- Give your bet card and payment to the cashier and get your generated ticket once printed.
- After the draw, see the 6/45 Lotto Result to verify if you won the prize.
Each Mega Lotto 6/45 combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total play amount would range from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the total number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Mega Lotto 6/45 System Plays – Ways to Increase the Odds of Winning
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and creates multiple combinations of your chosen numbers.
The system bets available in 6/45 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a player who picks this option would have to mark seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the bettor will have to pick a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.
In essence, more and more number combinations are produced as the selected numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.
In the case of System 5R, the bettor chooses five (5) numbers instead of six. These 5 numbers are automatically matched with the remaining forty (40) numbers, producing 40 six-number combinations in all.
Remember that your total bet cost will be much higher in system bets due to the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The overall ticket cost shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations created.

If you match three (3) out of six (6), you receive PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 32,000.
Matching all the numbers gives you the jackpot prize worth at least PhP 8.91 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system bet. This option allows you to mark up to 12 numbers instead of just 6, thereby generating a bigger number of combinations.
There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.

In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO shortens its draw schedule so that all draws are completed early in the afternoon.
What is Documentary Stamps Tax?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

March 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the betting public to not to patronize persons and entities claiming to be part of PCSO and luring them to buy lotto tickets online using their platform. To date, PCSO has no online betting system yet whether through an app, text or calls.
