PCSO uses a prize system for Megalotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ betting system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a certain draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.
This is the updated Mega Lotto 6/45 prize system:
- Jackpot prize awaits those who will match six (6) out of the six (6) winning numbers drawn in any order. Jackpot prize starts at PhP 8,910,000.
- A second prize worth PhP 32,000 awaits those who will match five (5) out of the six (6) drawn numbers.
- If you got four (4) of the six (6) numbers drawn, you take home a fixed amount of PhP 1,000.
- A fourth prize worth PhP 30 awaits those who will get three (3) out of the six (6) number drawn.
A 20% tax will be automatically deducted from your winnings if its total amount exceeds PhP 10,000.

Before you proceed, please note that only 18 years old and above are allowed to play.
These are the detailed steps when playing Mega Lotto 6/45:
- Go to an authorized PCSO lottery agent and grab the Mega Lotto 6/45 bet card.
- Select six (6) numbers that will comprise your 6/45 Lotto combination. You can choose from numbers 1 to 45.
- Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option allows the computer to automatically select the number combination for you.
- You can also raise your odds of winning through the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can select more than the usual six (6) numbers thus increasing your total number combinations.
- For Advance Plays, select the number of succeeding draws in the Draw panel.
- Give your bet card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket once it is printed.
- View the 6/45 Lotto Result after the 9:00 pm scheduled draw to know if your ticket matches the winning combination.
Each Megalotto 6/45 combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket. Keep it in a secure and dry place.
Do not soak in water, fold or iron or write anything on your 6/45 Mega Lotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets have to be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.

- Use the tray provided when handing out your playing card and payment.

Lotto 6/45 System Bets – Increase your Chances of Winning the Jackpot
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.
In case you want to play system plays, these are the options you can choose from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a player who picks this option would need to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the player will need to mark a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.
To sum it up, more and more number combinations are created as the picked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.
In System 5R, the bettor will only have to choose five (5) numbers. The remaining (unmarked) 40 numbers will be partnered with the 5 picked numbers. This produces a total of 40 combinations.
Please remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall bet cost will be. The overall price of the ticket is PhP 20 times the number of combinations created.

Matching three (3) of the winning number combination wins you PhP 30, four (4) matching numbers gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) numbers gives you a fixed prize equal to PhP 32,000.

To play System 10, just select your preferred 10-number combination and then mark the number 10 in the SYS column of the 6/45 Lotto play card.
How do I correct the numbers I entered in the Mega Lotto 6/45 bet slip?
To cancel or disregard a specific 6/45 Lotto entry, mark the VOID directly below it before handing over the playing card to the teller.

March 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from purchasing lotto tickets from entities claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. The agency states it does not have any such system yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 4-Digit and 6-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
