PCSO employs pari mutel wagering system in determining 6/45 Lotto prizes. This means that the actual amount that each winner will receive depends on the gross sales and number of winners on a specific prize level.
The following is the updated prize range of the 6/45 Lotto:
- If you matched six (6) numbers of the winning combination in any order, you win the current jackpot prize for Mega Lotto 6/45. Its initial jackpot starts at PhP 8,910,000.
- If your number matches five (5) out of the six (6) drawn numbers, you get the prize in the amount of PhP 32,000.
- In case you got four (4) numbers of the winning combination, you win a fixed amount of PhP 1,000.

How to Play Megalotto
Before proceeding further, please note that only 18 years old and above are allowed to play.
These are the complete instructions when playing Mega Lotto 6/45:
- Go to any authorized PCSO lottery outlet and grab the Mega Lotto 6/45 betting card.
- Select six (6) numbers that will comprise your 6/45 Lotto combination. You can choose from numbers 1 to 45.
- If you cannot think of any number, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the terminal automatically pick the number combination for you.
- Optionally mark one of the options under the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can choose more than the regular six number combination.
- Mark the number of consecutive draws you want to play in the Draw panel.
- Give your betting card and corresponding payment to the teller and get your ticket once it is printed.
- Check the 6/45 Lotto Result right after the 9:00 pm live draw to see if you won a prize.
6/45 Mega Lotto ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket and keep it in safe and dry place.
Your Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket needs to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket.
To win the Jackpot, you must match all 6 numbers. The Initial Jackpot Prize (IJP) for Megalotto 6/45 is 8,910,000.00 (net of agent’s prize commission). If no one wins the jackpot in a particular MegaLotto 6/45 draw, the prize amount is carried forward into the next MegaLotto 6/45 draw. If there is more than one jackpot winner, the Jackpot prize will then be divided equally among all the winners.
New Rules to be Followed by Bettors when Playing Lotto 6/45
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following regulations in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Wear your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting policy shall be carried out at all outlets nationwide.
- Observe social distancing when placing 6/45 Lotto bets.
- Use your own ball pen to reduce the risk of getting infected with the virus.
- Use the tray provided when handing out your bet card and payment.
- Use alcohols or disinfectants before you leave the outlet.
- Avoid littering and put away any used bet card or non-winning lotto tickets in the garbage bins.
Mega Lotto System Bets – How to Increase the Chances of Winning
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates several combinations of your chosen numbers.
The system bets available in 6/45 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a player who selects this option would need to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are created because the player will have to choose a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.
The more numbers picked, the higher the number of combinations generated. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
In the case of System 5-Roll, the bettor selects five (5) numbers instead of six. These 5 numbers are automatically partnered with the remaining forty (40) numbers, generating 40 six-number combinations in total.
Please note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total ticket cost will be. The total price of the ticket is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

How to win a prize in Lotto 6/45?
In Mega Lotto 6/45, you win a prize by getting at least three (3) out of the six (6) numbers drawn. More matching number means higher prizes for you.
If you match three (3) out of six (6), you take home PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a fixed amount equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 32,000.
If you match all the numbers, you win the jackpot prize which begins at PhP 8.91 Million.
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot by marking up to 12 numbers using a system bet. This type of bet creates a larger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
You can select from seven available system plays. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket price shall be based on the overall number of created combinations.

How much do I win if I match all the Mega Lotto 6/45 winning numbers but NOT in exact order?
