PCSO employs a prize structure for 6/45 Mega Lotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ wagering system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lotto bets in a given draw, then split the pool by the total number of winners.

- If your number matches six (6) out of the six (6) numbers drawn in any order, you win the jackpot prize for the Megalotto 6/45 game. Starting jackpot is PhP 8,910,000 but this amount grows larger every time no one gets the jackpot.
- If you got five (5) numbers of the winning number combination, you take home a prize in the amount of PhP 32,000.
- Getting five (4) out of the six (6) winning numbers gives you a fixed amount of PhP 1,000.

- Go to any PCSO-authorized lottery outlet near you and get the Mega Lotto 6/45 bet card.
- Pick a combination of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Five (45) in each column of the bet slip.
- If you can’t think of any number combination, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to let the terminal randomly select the number combination for you.
- Improve your chances of winning the jackpot through the 6/45 Lotto System Play.
- For multiple draws, mark the number of succeeding draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Hand over your bet card and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
- View the 6/45 Lotto Result after the 9:00 pm scheduled draw to know if you got the winning number combination.
One Mega Lotto 6/45 combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your 6/45 Lotto ticket. Store it in a secure and dry place.
Do not soak in water, fold or iron or write anything on your 6/45 Lotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets have to be machine-validated when claiming prizes.
To win the Jackpot, you must match all 6 numbers. The Initial Jackpot Prize (IJP) for Megalotto 6/45 is 8,910,000.00 (net of agent’s prize commission). If no one wins the jackpot in a particular MegaLotto 6/45 draw, the prize amount is carried forward into the next MegaLotto 6/45 draw. Mega Lotto System Plays – Ways to Improve your Odds of Winning
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the choices available in case you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
With System 7, a player picks seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the player chooses eight (8) numbers, creating a total of 28 combinations.
The more numbers chosen, the higher the number of combinations created. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
In the case of System 5R, you only select five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5R, the 5 numbers you have picked are automatically combined with each of the remaining 40 digits in the bet card, producing a total of 40 combinations.
Remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall ticket cost will be. The overall ticket price is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

How to win a prize in Lotto 6/45?
You win a prize by matching at least three (3) numbers of the winning Megalotto combination. The more matching numbers, the higher the prizes you will win.
If you got three (3) out of six (6), you take home PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a fixed prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 32,000.
If you got all the six (6) winning numbers correctly, you take home the jackpot prize of at least PhP 8.9 Million.
You can improve your chances of winning by playing a system play. With this option, you can choose up to 12 numbers per column in the play slip, thereby generating up to 924 number combinations.
There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
The cost of tickets in system plays depend on the overall number of combinations produced.

The Lucky Pick or LP option instructs the computer to automatically select the 6/45 Mega Lotto number for you if you do not have any number in mind.

What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

March 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the betting public to not to patronize persons and entities claiming to be part of PCSO and luring them to buy tickets online using their platform. To date, PCSO has no online betting platform yet whether through an app, text or calls.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 6D and 4D Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
