Here’s the detailed instructions for playing this popular million-peso game:

  1. Go to any PCSO-authorized lotto outlet and grab the Mega Lotto 6/45 play slip.
  2. Select six (6) numbers between 1 to 45. These digits will be your 6/45 Lotto combination.
  3. If you cannot think of any number, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to let the computer randomly choose the number combination for you.
  4. Optionally pick one of the options in the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can pick more than the usual six number combination.
  5. If you want to join multiple draws, mark the number of succeeding draws in the Draw panel.
  6. Hand over your play card and payment to the teller and get your printed ticket once printed.
  7. After the draw, see the 6/45 Lotto Result to verify if you won the prize.

Each Mega Lotto number combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket and store it in safe and dry place.

Your Megalotto 6/45 ticket needs to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket.

You can also try playing SYSTEM plays to increase your chance and prizes to be won. For the total amount of winnings per System play, please refer to the MegaLotto 6/45 System Play Prize Payout Chart below.

New Protocols to be Followed by Bettors when Playing Lotto 6/45

In light of the on-going pandemic, 6/45 Lotto players must observe the following rules and regulations imposed at all PCSO lotto outlets when placing bets to ensure that the minimum health and safety guidelines are met.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors with no face mask will not be allowed to buy 6/45 Lotto tickets.
  2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
  3. Use your own ball pen.
  4. Use the money tray to decrease physical contact.
  5. Apply disinfectants or sanitizers before you leave the lotto outlet.
  6. Use the garbage cans provided to put away used bet slips and/or non-winning tickets.

Megalotto 6/45 System Plays – How to Improve the Odds of Winning

6/45 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

The available system plays in 6/45 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

A total of seven (7) combinations are produced in System 7 because a player who picks this option would need to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the player will need to mark a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.

The more numbers picked, the higher the number of combinations generated. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.

With regard to System 5-Roll, the bettor will only need to select five (5) numbers. The remaining (unmarked) 40 numbers will be paired with the 5 marked numbers. This generates a total of 40 combinations.

Please remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall bet cost will be. The overall ticket cost is PhP 20 times the number of combinations generated.

Refer to the table below for more information on overall ticket cost for every 6/45 Megalotto system play.
