PCSO uses a payout structure for 6/45 Megalotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ betting system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a given draw, then split the pool by the total number of winners.

Before you go any further, please remember that you must be at least 18 years old to play.

- Select six (6) numbers between 1 to 45. These digits will be your 6/45 Lotto combination.
- Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option allows the system to randomly generate the number combination for you.
- Optionally select one of the options in the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can pick more than the regular six number combination.
- Choose the number of succeeding draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Hand over your bet card and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
- After the draw, access the 6/45 Lotto Result to know if you won the prize.
One Lotto 6/45 number combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the the Megalotto 6/45 ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your Lotto 6/45 ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.
You can even play your selected numbers up to six consecutive draws in advance by marking the preferred number of draws in DRAW column on the playslip. If an error is made, mark the VOID box to indicate that the board is cancelled.

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following rules in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Always wear your face mask. Bettors with no face mask will not be allowed to place 6/45 Lotto bets.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
- Bring your own ball pen to reduce the risk of getting infected with the virus.
- Use the tray provided when handing out your bet card and payment.
- Apply disinfectants or sanitizers before leaving the lotto outlet.
- Avoid littering and throw away any used bet card or old lotto tickets in the trash bins.
6/45 Mega Lotto System Plays – How to Improve the Chances of Winning the Jackpot
6/45 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
The available system bets in 6/45 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
A total of seven (7) combinations are produced in System 7 because a player who chooses this option would have to choose seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the bettor will have to mark a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.
In short, more and more number combinations are produced as the selected numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.
In System 5R, you only need to select five (5) numbers instead of the usual six-number combination. The remaining unmarked numbers in the play slip (40 in all) will be matched with the 5 numbers you selected, thus producing 40 six-number combinations in all.
Keep in mind that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall ticket cost will be. The total ticket cost is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

In 6/45 Lotto, you win a prize by matching at least three (3) out of the six (6) winning numbers. More matching number means bigger prizes for you.
If you got three (3) out of six (6), you get PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a fixed prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 32,000.
If you match all the numbers, you get the jackpot prize which starts at PhP 8.91 Million.
You can boost your chances of winning by playing a system bet. With this option, you can choose up to 12 numbers per column in the playing card, thus creating up to 924 combinations.

How many combinations are there in System 7 for 6/45 Mega Lotto?
System 7 lets you to pick a seven (7) number combination instead of the default combination comprised of six (6) numbers. This type of 6/45 Mega Lotto system bet creates a total of seven combinations and costs PhP 140 (Php 20 x 7 combinations).
To play System 7, just pick your preferred 7-number combination and then mark the number 7 in the SYS panel of the 6/45 Lotto play card.
What is Documentary Stamps Tax?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Act).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
How many combinations are there in System 12 for 6/45 Mega Lotto?
System 12 is the Megalotto 6/45 system bet that allows bettors to select a total of twelve (12) numbers instead of the typical six (6) numbers. This play type generates 924 combinations in all and costs PhP 18,480 (Php 20 x 924 combinations).
To play System 12, simply select your preferred 12-number combination and then mark the number 12 in the SYS column of the 6/45 Lotto play slip.
What if I cannot think of any Mega Lotto 6/45 number to play?
The Lucky Pick or LP option lets the computer to automatically choose the Megalotto number combination for you if you cannot think of any number to bet on.
To use this option, just mark the LP in the betting card.
Am I allowed to pick more than 6 numbers in 6/45 Mega Lotto?
You can select more than 6 numbers by playing any of the system plays for Megalotto 6/45. You can choose from System 7 (7 numbers), System 8 (8 numbers), System 9 (8 numbers), System 10 (10 numbers), System 11 (11 numbers) and System 12 (12 numbers).
You can also choose only 5 numbers using the System 5R. Take note that the total number of combinations is considered when computing the total ticket cost.

March 10, 2021– PCSO warns the betting public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. The agency said it has no such system yet in place that will cater to such transactions.
