PCSO employs pari mutel wagering system in calculating 6/45 Mega Lotto prizes. This means that the actual prize that each winner shall receive depends on the gross sales and number of winners on a specific prize rank.

Here is the latest Mega Lotto 6/45 prize system:

• In case your combination matches six (6) out of the six (6) drawn numbers in any order, you take home the jackpot prize for the Mega Lotto 6/45 game. Starting jackpot is PhP 8,910,000 but this amount grows higher every time no one wins the jackpot.
• In case your number matches five (5) out of the six (6) drawn numbers, you take home a fixed prize worth PhP 32,000.

How to Play Megalotto 6/45

Before you go any further, keep in mind that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play.

Here’s how you can play the Megalotto:

1. Go to a PCSO-authorized lotto agent and look for the Mega Lotto 6/45 betting card.
2. Mark six (6) numbers that will compose your 6/45 Lotto combination. You can pick from numbers 1 to 45.
3. If you cannot think of any number, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to let the system automatically choose the number combination for you.
4. Optionally choose one of the options in the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can choose more than the regular six number combination.
5. For multiple draws, mark the number of consecutive draws you want to join in the Draw section.
6. Pay the ticket price and get your generated ticket once done.
7. After the draw, view the 6/45 Lotto Result to see if you won the prize.

Each Megalotto number combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your 6/45 Mega Lotto ticket. Keep it in a safe and dry place.

Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your 6/45 Lotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets need to be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following regulations in all lotto outlets in the country.

1. Wear your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting system shall be observed at all PCSO lotto outlets in the country.
2. Observe physical distancing at all times while in the outlet.
3. Bring your own pen.
4. Use the money tray to reduce physical contact.
5. Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Hand sanitizers or alcohols are available in the betting area.
6. Avoid littering and put away used play card or non-winning tickets in the trash cans.

Megalotto System Bets – Improve your Odds of Winning

6/45 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the default six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

In case you want to play system plays, these are the options you can select from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

In System 7, a bettor picks seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the player chooses a total of eight (8) numbers producing a total of 28 combinations.

To sum up, more and more number combinations are generated as the marked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.

With regard to System 5-Roll, the bettor picks five (5) numbers instead of six. These 5 numbers are automatically partnered with the remaining forty (40) numbers, generating 40 six-number combinations in all.

Please note that your overall ticket cost will be much higher in system plays because of the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The overall ticket cost shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations created.

How can I win prizes in Mega Lotto 6/45?

You win a prize in Megalotto by matching at least three (3) drawn numbers in any order. Bigger prizes awaits those who will get four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.

If you got three (3) out of six (6), you get PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 32,000.

If you got all the six (6) numbers correctly, you receive the jackpot prize of at least PhP 8.91 Million.

You can improve your chances of winning by playing a system play. With this option, you can pick up to 12 numbers per column in the bet card, thus producing up to 924 number combinations.

There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.

Ticket price shall be based on the total number of generated combinations.

Can I play the same 6/45 Mega Lotto combination in advance?

You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the current draw. To play in advance, just mark your intended number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the bet slip. Your Megalotto entry shall then be played repeatedly according to the number of draws you picked.

For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Mega Lotto combination shall be valid for the six (6) consecutive Mega Lotto draws including the current draw.

Who are allowed to play Lotto 6/45?

Only persons 18 years old and above are allowed to play the Megalotto. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place due to the current COVID-19 epidemic.

How much does a Megalotto System 5-Roll ticket cost?

System 5R (5-Roll) is the 6/45 Mega Lotto system play which lets the bettor to select only five (5) numbers instead of the default 6 number combination.

To complete the combination, the system automatically pairs each of the remaining 40 “unselected” numbers in the bet card to the five numbers you already picked.

This produces a total of 40 combinations and guarantees that you will get at least one (1) winning number in your combinations.

System 5R costs Php 800 (Php 20 x 40).

To play System 5R, simply pick your preferred 5-number combination and then mark 5R in the SYS column of the 6/45 Lotto playing card.

Does PCSO have lotto draws during holidays?

PCSO most of the time cancels its lotto draws during regular holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO modifies its draw schedule in such a way that all draws are completed early in the afternoon.

What is DST?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Act).

PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

PCSO News and Official Announcements

March 10, 2021– PCSO warns the betting public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. The agency states it has no such platform yet in place that will support such transactions.

January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 4D and 6D Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– All major games ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously increased to PhP 24 as mandated by the TRAIN Law.
