PCSO uses pari mutel wagering system in calculating Megalotto prizes. This means that the actual amount that each winner shall receive depends on the gross sales and number of winners on a given prize level.
The following is the updated prize range of the Megalotto:
- If you got six (6) numbers of the winning number combination in any order, you take home the jackpot for the Mega Lotto game. The top prize starts at PhP 8,910,000.
- Matching five (5) out of the six (6) drawn numbers gives you the fixed prize worth PhP 32,000.
- A third prize of PhP 1,000 awaits those who will match four (4) out of the six (6) number drawn.
- If your number matches three (3) out of the six (6) numbers drawn, you win PhP 30.
A 20% tax will be automatically deducted from your winnings if its total amount exceeds PhP 10,000.

- Choose six (6) numbers between 1 to 45. These digits will be your 6/45 Lotto combination.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to let the system choose the number combination for you.
- Optionally mark one of the options in the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can choose more than the regular six number combination.
- For multiple draws, choose the number of consecutive draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Give your playing card and payment to the teller and get your generated ticket once printed.
- See the 6/45 Lotto Result after the scheduled draw to know if your ticket matches the winning number combination.
Megalotto ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the the Megalotto ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize.

Mega Lotto 6/45 System Plays – How to Increase the Chances of Winning
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and creates multiple combinations of your chosen numbers.
If you want to try system bets, these are the options you can select from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In System 7, a player chooses seven (7) numbers which creates a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the player marks a total of eight (8) numbers producing a total of 28 combinations.
The more numbers marked, the higher the number of combinations produced. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
With System 5-Roll, you only need to choose five (5) numbers instead of the usual six-number combination. The remaining unmarked numbers in the bet card (40 in all) will be partnered with the 5 numbers you picked, thus producing 40 six-number combinations in all.
Remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall bet cost will be. The overall cost of the ticket is PhP 20 times the number of combinations produced.

You win a prize in Megalotto 6/45 by matching at least three (3) drawn numbers in any order. Bigger prizes awaits those who will match four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.
If you match three (3) out of six (6), you get PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a fixed prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 32,000.
If you got all the winning numbers, you win the jackpot prize which begins at PhP 8.91 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system bet. This option allows you to choose up to 12 numbers instead of just 6, thus producing a larger number of combinations.

March 10, 2021– PCSO discourages everyone from purchasing tickets from persons claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. PCSO said it does not have any such system yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
