Before you proceed, please remember that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play.
Here’s how you can play the Mega Lotto:
- Go to the nearest authorized PCSO lottery outlet and grab a betting card with Mega Lotto 6/45 logo.
- Mark six (6) digits that will compose your 6/45 Lotto combination. You can choose from numbers 1 to 45.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, choose Lucky Pick (LP) to have the terminal select the number combination for you.
- Optionally pick one of the options under the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can pick more than the regular six number combination.
- If you want to play multiple draws, select the number of succeeding draws in the Draw section.
- Give your bet slip and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket once it is printed.
- See the 6/45 Lotto Result after the 9 PM live draw to see if you won a prize.
Each 6/45 Lotto number combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total bet amount would vary from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your Lotto 6/45 ticket. Keep it in a safe and dry place.
Your Megalotto ticket has to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket.
You can even play your selected numbers up to six consecutive draws in advance by marking the preferred number of draws in DRAW column on the playslip. If an error is made, mark the VOID box to indicate that the board is cancelled.

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following protocol in all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors without face mask will not be permitted to buy 6/45 Lotto tickets.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
- Use your own pen.
- Use the money tray to eliminate physical contact.
- Apply disinfectants or alcohols before you leave the outlet.
- Avoid littering and put away any used bet card or old tickets in the trash cans.
Lotto 6/45 System Plays – Ways to Increase the Chances of Winning
6/45 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
These are the options available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
In System 7, a bettor marks seven (7) numbers which creates a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the bettor chooses a total of eight (8) numbers producing a total of 28 combinations.
The more numbers marked, the higher the number of combinations created. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
In System 5-Roll, the player will only need to select five (5) numbers. The remaining (unmarked) 40 numbers will be paired with the 5 selected numbers. This produces a total of 40 six-number combinations.
Please remember that your overall ticket cost will be much higher in system plays due to the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The total ticket cost shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

In Mega Lotto 6/45, you win a prize by getting at least three (3) out of the six (6) numbers drawn. More matching number means higher prizes for you.
If you match three (3) out of the six (6) winning numbers, you receive PhP 30, four (4) out of six (6) gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) wins you a prize equal to PhP 32,000.
If you got all the winning numbers, you win the jackpot prize which begins at PhP 8.9 Million.
You can increase your odds of winning the jackpot by choosing up to 12 numbers using a system play. This type of bet produces a larger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
You can select from seven available system plays. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket price is PhP 20 times the overall number of produced combinations.

Who are allowed to play Lotto 6/45?
PCSO only allows persons aged 18 and above to play the Mega Lotto 6/45. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place owing to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Act).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
Are Mega Lotto 6/45 Prizes subject to tax?
6/45 Mega Lotto winnings exceeding PhP 10,000 are subject to the 20% tax as imposed by the TRAIN Act.
Mega Lotto winnings PhP 10,000 or lower are not subject to 20% tax.
Am I allowed to pick more than 6 numbers in 6/45 Mega Lotto?
You can select more than 6 numbers by playing any of the system bets for Mega Lotto 6/45. You can choose from System 7 (7 numbers), System 8 (8 numbers), System 9 (8 numbers), System 10 (10 numbers), System 11 (11 numbers) and System 12 (12 numbers).
You can also choose only 5 numbers using the System 5-Roll. Please remember that the total number of combinations is considered when computing the total ticket cost.
For instance, a System 7 play costs PhP 140 because it produces 7 combinations in all.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements
March 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from buying tickets from persons claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. The agency confirms it does not have any such system yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 4D and 6D Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– All major games ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 as required under the TRAIN Act.
