PCSO employs a prize system for 6/45 Mega Lotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ wagering system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a certain draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.
Here is the prize range of the 6/45 Lotto:
- In case your number matches six (6) out of the six (6) winning numbers in any order, you hit the current jackpot for the Mega Lotto game. Starting jackpot is PhP 8,910,000 but this amount gets larger every time no one gets the jackpot.

Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your Mega Lotto ticket and keep it in secure and dry place.
Do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your 6/45 Megalotto ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize.
You can even play your selected numbers up to six consecutive draws in advance by marking the preferred number of draws in DRAW column on the playslip. If an error is made, mark the VOID box to indicate that the board is cancelled.

Megalotto 6/45 System Bets – How to Increase your Odds of Winning the Jackpot
6/45 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
The system bets available in 6/45 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
In System 7, a bettor marks seven (7) numbers which creates a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the bettor chooses a total of eight (8) numbers producing a total of 28 combinations.
In short, more and more number combinations are generated as the marked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.
With System 5-Roll, the player will only need to pick five (5) numbers. The remaining (unmarked) 40 numbers will be partnered with the 5 picked numbers. This generates a total of 40 combinations.
Keep in mind that your total ticket cost will be much higher in system bets because of the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The total cost of the ticket shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations produced.

How can I win prizes in Mega Lotto 6/45?
You win a prize in Mega Lotto 6/45 by matching at least three (3) drawn numbers in any order. Higher prizes awaits those who will get four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.
If you got three (3) out of six (6), you win PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a fixed prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 32,000.
Matching all the winning numbers gives you the jackpot prize worth no less than PhP 8.9 Million.
You can boost your odds of winning by opting for a system play. With this option, you can pick up to 12 numbers per column in the play card, thereby creating up to 924 combinations.

What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
What if I made a mistake in marking my 6/45 Lotto numbers?
To cancel or disregard a specific 6/45 Mega Lotto entry, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the bet card to the cashier.
Please note that you can only void your 6/45 Mega Lotto entry before purchasing the ticket. Any 6/45 Megalotto number combination that has been processed by the terminal can no longer be canceled or voided.
How many combinations are there in System 5R for 6/45 Mega Lotto?
System 5R (5-Roll) is the Mega Lotto 6/45 system play that lets you select only five (5) numbers instead of the regular 6 number combination.
To complete the combination, the system automatically combines each of the remaining 40 “unselected” numbers in the play card to the five numbers you already chosen.
This produces a total of 40 combinations and guarantees that you will get at least one (1) winning number in your combinations.
System 5R costs Php 800 (Php 20 x 40).
To play System 5-Roll, just select your preferred 5-number combination and then mark 5R in the SYS panel of the 6/45 Lotto bet slip.
