Prizes in Megalotto are split proportionately to the winners of each prize level. This is the reason why the minor prizes are most of the time lower than the advertized amount.
The following are the different prizes for each level of the 6/45 Mega Lotto payout structure:
- If you matched six (6) numbers of the winning combination in any order, you take home the current jackpot prize for Megalotto. Its initial jackpot begins at PhP 8,910,000.
- If you got five (5) of the six (6) numbers drawn, you receive a prize worth PhP 32,000.
- A third prize worth PhP 1,000 awaits those who will get four (4) out of the six (6) number drawn.
- In case your combination matches three (3) out of the six (6) numbers drawn, you get a prize of PhP 30.

These are the complete steps when playing 6/45 Mega Lotto:
- Go to an authorized PCSO lottery agent near you and get the Mega Lotto 6/45 play slip.
- Select six (6) digits that will compose your 6/45 Lotto combination. You can pick from numbers 1 to 45.
- If you can’t think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to have the terminal pick the number combination for you.
- Optionally select one of the options in the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can mark more than the usual six number combination.
- For Advance Plays, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw panel.
- Hand over your play slip and payment to the cashier and get your generated ticket once printed.
- See the 6/45 Lotto Result after the 9 PM scheduled draw to verify if you matched the winning combination.
Each Megalotto number combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the the Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.

In light of the on-going pandemic, 6/45 Lotto enthusiasts must observe the following rules and regulations imposed at all outlets when purchasing tickets to ensure that the minimum health and safety protocols are met.
- Always wear your face mask. Players with no face mask will not be permitted to purchase 6/45 Lotto tickets.
- Follow social distancing when buying 6/45 Lotto tickets.
- Use your own pen.
- Use the tray provided when handing out your bet slip and payment.
- Apply alcohols or disinfectants before you leave the lotto outlet.
- Use the garbage cans provided to discard used play slips and/or old tickets.
Megalotto System Plays – Improve your Chances of Winning the Jackpot
6/45 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
These are the choices available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
In System 7, a player chooses seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the bettor picks a total of eight (8) numbers producing a total of 28 combinations.
The more numbers chosen, the higher the number of combinations produced. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
With regard to System 5-Roll, the bettor will only have to choose five (5) numbers. The remaining (unselected) 40 numbers will be partnered with the 5 picked numbers. This creates a total of 40 six-number combinations.
Please note that your overall ticket cost will be much higher in system bets because of the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The total cost of the ticket shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations created.

You can increase your chances of hitting the jackpot by picking up to 12 numbers using a system bet. This type of bet produces a larger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.

March 10, 2021– PCSO warns the betting public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. The agency said it has no such platform yet in place that will cater to such transactions.
