Before proceeding further, remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play.
Here’s how you can play the 6/49 Super Lotto:
- Go to a lottery outlet authorized by PCSO and get the Super Lotto 6/49 bet card.
- Mark six (6) digits that will compose your 6/49 Lotto combination. You can choose from numbers 1 to 49.
- Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option instructs the computer to automatically select the numbers for you.
- You can also mark up to twelve (12) numbers using the 6/49 Lotto System Play to raise your chances of winning the jackpot.
- If you want to join multiple draws, select the number of consecutive draws in the Draw panel.
- Give your bet card and corresponding payment to the teller and get your ticket once it is printed.

Super Lotto ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the your Super Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your Superlotto ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.
To win a prize, you need to match at least three winning numbers. The more numbers you match, the greater your prize. For matching six numbers you win the JACKPOT amount.
New Regulations to be Followed by Bettors when Playing 6/49 Lotto
In light of the on-going pandemic, 6/49 Lotto players must observe the following rules and regulations imposed at all lotto outlets when placing bets to ensure that the minimum health and safety guidelines are met.
- Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors without face mask will not be allowed to purchase 6/49 Lotto tickets.

Superlotto 6/49 System Plays – Ways to Increase your Odds of Winning the Jackpot
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/49 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.
In case you want to play system plays, these are the options you can choose from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
A total of seven (7) combinations are produced in System 7 because a player who picks this option would need to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are created because the bettor will need to pick a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 49.

In Superlotto 6/49, you win a prize by getting at least three (3) out of the six (6) numbers drawn. More matching number means higher prizes for you.
If you match three (3) out of the six (6) winning numbers, you receive PhP 50, four (4) out of six (6) wins you a prize in the amount of PhP 1,200 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 50,000.

You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot by picking up to 12 numbers using a system play. This type of bet generates a larger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.

What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/49 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
Is it possible to select more than 6 numbers in Super Lotto 6/49?
You can select more than 6 numbers by playing any of the system plays for Super Lotto 6/49. You can choose from System 7 (7 numbers), System 8 (8 numbers), System 9 (8 numbers), System 10 (10 numbers), System 11 (11 numbers) and System 12 (12 numbers).
You can also choose only 5 numbers using the System 5-Roll. Take note that the total number of combinations is considered when computing the total ticket price.
For instance, a System 7 play costs PhP 140 because it generates 7 combinations in all.
How much does a Super Lotto System 12 ticket cost?
System 12 is the 6/49 Super Lotto system bet that lets bettors to pick a total of twelve (12) numbers instead of the usual six (6) numbers. This play type creates 924 combinations in all and costs PhP 18,480 (Php 20 x 924 combinations).
To play System 12, simply select your preferred 12-number combination and then mark the number 12 in the SYS section of the 6/49 Lotto playing card.
How do I Play Super Lotto 6/49 System 11?
System 11 allows you to pick a eleven (11) number combination instead of the typical combination composed of six (6) numbers. This type of Superlotto system bet generates a total of 462 combinations and costs PhP 9,240 (Php 20 x 462 combinations).
To play System 11, just pick your preferred 11-number combination and then mark the number 11 in the SYS panel of the 6/49 Lotto play card.
How do I void an entry in the Lotto 6/49 play slip?
To cancel or disregard a specific 6/49 Superlotto number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the play slip to the teller.
Please note that you can only void your 6/49 Lotto entry before purchasing the ticket. Any 6/49 Superlotto entry that has been processed by the system can no longer be voided or canceled.
