PCSO uses pari mutel system in determining Superlotto 6/49 prizes. This means that the actual prize that each winner shall get depends on the gross sales and number of winners on a certain prize level.

Before you proceed, remember that only 18 years old and above are allowed to play.
To play the 6/49 Lotto game, follow these detailed steps:
- Go to any lottery outlet authorized by PCSO and get the Super Lotto 6/49 playing card.
- Select a combination of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Nine (49) in each column of the bet slip.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, choose Lucky Pick (LP) to have the computer pick the numbers for you.
- Raise your chances of hitting the jackpot using the 6/49 Lotto System Play.
- If you want to play multiple draws, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw panel.
- Pay the ticket price and get your generated ticket once done.

Each Super Lotto 6/49 number combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total play amount would range from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Super Lotto System Plays – Learn How to Improve the Odds of Winning
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/49 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces multiple combinations of your chosen numbers.
The available system bets in 6/49 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In System 7, a bettor marks seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the bettor marks a total of eight (8) numbers generating a total of 28 combinations.
To sum up, more and more number combinations are generated as the marked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.
With System 5-Roll, the bettor will only have to pick five (5) numbers. The remaining (unmarked) 44 numbers will be combined with the 5 picked numbers. This generates a total of 44 combinations.
Please note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total bet cost will be. The overall ticket cost is PhP 20 times the number of combinations generated.

What are the ways to win in 6/49 Lotto?
You win a prize by matching at least three (3) numbers of the drawn Super Lotto 6/49 number combination. The more matching numbers, the higher the prizes you will get.
If you match three (3) out of six (6), you win PhP 50. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a fixed prize equal to PhP 1,200 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 50,000.
If you match all the winning numbers, you win the jackpot prize which starts at PhP 15.84 Million.
You can increase your chances of getting the jackpot by choosing up to 12 numbers using a system bet. This type of bet produces a larger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
You can select from seven available system plays. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
The price of tickets in system plays depend on the total number of combinations created.

How do I correct the numbers I entered in the Super Lotto 6/49 bet slip?
To cancel or disregard a specific Super Lotto 6/49 number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before handing over the betting card to the cashier.
Please note that you can only void your Superlotto number combination before purchasing the ticket. Any 6/49 Superlotto number combination that has been processed by the system can no longer be voided or canceled.
How to Play System 5R in 6/49 Lotto?
System 5R (5-Roll) is the Super Lotto system play that allows the bettor to select only five (5) numbers instead of the usual 6 number combination.
To complete the combination, the system automatically combines each of the remaining 44 “unmarked” numbers in the play card to the five numbers you already chosen.
This creates a total of 44 combinations and ensures that you will get at least one (1) winning number in your combinations.
System 5R costs Php 880 (Php 20 x 44).
To play System 5-Roll, just pick your preferred 5-number combination and then mark 5R in the SYS column of the 6/49 Lotto playing card.
What is SYS 12 in Lotto 6/49?
System 12 is the 6/49 Super Lotto system play that allows bettors to pick a total of twelve (12) numbers instead of the default six (6) numbers. This play type produces 924 combinations in all and costs PhP 18,480 (Php 20 x 924 combinations).
To play System 12, just pick your preferred 12-number combination and then mark the number 12 in the SYS column of the 6/49 Lotto play card.
What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/49 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
