Super Lotto 6/49 System Bets – Ways to Increase the Odds of Winning
6/49 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
The available system bets in 6/49 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a bettor who marks this option would need to choose seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the player will need to pick a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 49.
The overall number of combinations increases as the selected numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
With regard to System 5R, you only choose five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5-Roll, the 5 numbers you have picked are automatically combined with each of the remaining 44 digits in the bet card, producing a total of 44 combinations.
Keep in mind that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall bet cost will be. The overall price of the ticket is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

How can I win prizes in Super Lotto 6/49?
You win a prize by getting at least three (3) numbers of the winning Superlotto 6/49 combination. The more matching numbers, the bigger the prizes you will get.
Matching three (3) of the winning number combination gives you PhP 50, four (4) matching numbers gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 1,200 while five (5) numbers wins you a fixed amount equal to PhP 50,000.
If you got all the six (6) winning numbers correctly, you take home the jackpot prize of at least PhP 15.8 Million.
You can increase your odds of winning by playing a system play. With this option, you can mark up to 12 numbers per column in the play card, thereby creating up to 924 number combinations.

Who are permitted to play 6/49 Lotto?
PCSO only allows persons aged 18 and above to play the 6/49 Super Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place owing to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic.
What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Act).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/49 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
I bet on the wrong number combination in 6/49 Super Lotto by mistake, can I get a refund?
You cannot cancel, void or refund your Super Lotto 6/49 ticket after it is printed by the system. Bettors have the sole duty of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the Superlotto ticket such as the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.
Thus, you need to verify all the numbers and options you chose before you give the bet card to the teller.
What is SYS 12 in Lotto 6/49?
System 12 is the Superlotto system bet that lets players to pick a total of twelve (12) numbers instead of the typical six (6) numbers. This play type creates 924 combinations in all and costs PhP 18,480 (Php 20 x 924 combinations).
To play System 12, just choose your preferred 12-number combination and then mark the number 12 in the SYS column of the 6/49 Lotto bet card.
