National Lotto 6/42 System Plays – Ways to Improve the Chances of Winning

6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

These are the options available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).

A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a bettor who marks this option would have to mark seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are created because the player will have to mark a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.

The more numbers chosen, the higher the number of combinations produced. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.

With System 5-Roll, you only have to pick five (5) numbers instead of the regular six-number combination. The remaining unmarked numbers in the bet slip (37 in all) will be paired with the 5 numbers you marked, thus generating 37 combinations in all.

Please note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall bet cost will be. The overall ticket price is PhP 20 times the number of combinations created.

The following table shows the number of combination as well as the corresponding ticket cost for each system bet.
