PCSO employs a prize system for Superlotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ wagering system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lotto bets in a given draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.

Before you go any further, remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play.
These are the detailed steps when playing Super Lotto:
- Go to any lotto outlet authorized by PCSO and look for the Super Lotto 6/49 bet card.
- Select a combination of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Nine (49) in each column of the bet card.
- If you can’t think of any number, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to let the terminal automatically generate the numbers for you.
- You can also pick up to twelve (12) numbers through the 6/49 Lotto System Play to raise your odds of hitting the jackpot.
- For multiple draws, mark the number of succeeding draws you want to play in the Draw section.
- Hand over your bet slip and payment to the teller and get your generated ticket once printed.
- Check the 6/49 Lotto Result after the scheduled draw to verify if you got the winning combination.
Each 6/49 Superlotto combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the 6/49 Lotto ticket. Keep it in a secure and dry place.
Your 6/49 Super Lotto ticket must be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket.

Superlotto System Plays – Increase your Odds of Winning the Jackpot
6/49 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the default six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
In case you want to play system plays, these are the options you can choose from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In System 7, a bettor chooses seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the bettor chooses a total of eight (8) numbers creating a total of 28 combinations.
The total number of combinations increases as the picked numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
With regard to System 5R, a player marks only five (5) numbers and—for the sixth number—pairs these off with each of the remaining forty-four (44) numbers, creating a total of 44 combinations.
Please note that your total ticket cost will be much higher in system plays because of the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The overall cost of the ticket shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

How to win a prize in Lotto 6/49?
You win a prize by getting at least three (3) numbers of the winning 6/49 Superlotto combination. The more matching numbers, the higher the prizes you will win.
If you got three (3) out of six (6), you win PhP 50. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a fixed prize equal to PhP 1,200 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 50,000.
Getting all the numbers gives you the jackpot prize worth at least PhP 15.84 Million.
You can increase your odds of hitting the jackpot by selecting up to 12 numbers using a system play. This type of bet produces a larger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
You can select from seven available system plays. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket cost shall be based on the total number of generated combinations.

How to Play System 8 in 6/49 Lotto?
System 8 is the 6/49 Super Lotto system play that allows bettors to select a total of eight (8) numbers instead of the regular six (6) numbers. This play type produces 28 combinations in all and costs PhP 560 (Php 20 x 28 combinations).
To play System 8, just select your preferred 8-number combination and then mark the number 8 in the SYS section of the 6/49 Lotto playing card.
What is Documentary Stamps Tax?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/49 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
Who are permitted to play 6/49 Lotto?
PCSO only allows persons aged 18 and above to play the 6/49 Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
How can I choose more than 6 numbers in the 6/49 Lotto bet slip?
You can select more than 6 numbers by playing any of the system plays for 6/49 Lotto. You can choose from System 7 (7 numbers), System 8 (8 numbers), System 9 (8 numbers), System 10 (10 numbers), System 11 (11 numbers) and System 12 (12 numbers).
You can also pick only 5 numbers using the System 5-Roll. Please remember that the total number of combinations is considered when computing the total ticket cost.
For instance, a System 7 play costs PhP 140 because it produces 7 combinations in all.
How many 6/49 Lotto draws can I play in advance?
You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the present draw. To play in advance, just select your desired number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the playing card. Your 6/49 Lotto entry will then be played repeatedly based on the number of draws you selected.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen 6/49 Super Lotto entry will be valid for the six (6) consecutive Lotto 6/49 draws including the current draw.
