Lotto 6/55 is a game of six numbers from One (1) to Fifty-Five (55). It was created in February 2010 and has since became one of the hugely popular lotteries in the Philippines. PCSO employs a prize structure for Grandlotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ betting system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a given draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.
Below is the 6/55 Grand Lotto prize system:
- In case your combination matches six (6) out of the six (6) numbers drawn in any order, you hit the jackpot for the Grandlotto game. Starting jackpot is PhP 29,700,000 but this amount grows larger every time nobody gets the jackpot.
- A second prize of PhP 100,000 awaits those who will get five (5) out of the six (6) winning numbers drawn.
- A third prize worth PhP 1,500 awaits those who will get four (4) out of the six (6) drawn winning numbers.
- If you got three (3) numbers of the winning combination, you win a prize of PhP 60.
A 20% tax will be automatically withheld from your winnings if its total amount exceeds PhP 10,000.

Before you go any further, please remember that you need to be at least 18 years old to play.
Here’s how you can play the 6/55 Grand Lotto:
- Go to an authorized PCSO lotto agent and get the Grand Lotto 6/55 bet card.
- Select six (6) digits that will comprise your 6/55 Lotto combination. You can choose from numbers 1 to 49.
- Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option allows the computer to randomly select the numbers for you.
- You can also pick up to twelve (12) numbers using the 6/55 Lotto System Play to increase your chances of hitting the jackpot.
- If you want to play multiple draws, select the number of succeeding draws in the Draw section.
- Pay the total ticket price to the teller and get your generated lotto ticket.
- After the draw, check the 6/55 Lotto Result to verify if you won the prize.
Each Lotto 6/55 combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total play amount would vary from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the your Grand Lotto 6/55 ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Your 6/55 Grandlotto ticket has to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.

Grandlotto 6/55 System Bets – How to Improve your Chances of Winning
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/55 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces multiple combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the options available in case you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a player who chooses this option would need to mark seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the bettor will need to choose a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 55.
In essence, more and more number combinations are produced as the selected numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.
In System 5-Roll, you only have to mark five (5) numbers instead of the usual six-number combination. The remaining unselected numbers in the playing card (50 in all) will be partnered with the 5 numbers you picked, thus producing 50 six-number combinations in total.
Remember that your total ticket cost will be much higher in system bets because of the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The overall price of the ticket shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations generated.

How can I win prizes in Grand Lotto 6/55?
You win a prize by getting at least three (3) numbers of the drawn Grandlotto 6/55 number combination. The more matching numbers, the higher the prizes you will get.
Matching three (3) of the winning combination gives you PhP 60, four (4) matching numbers gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,500 while five (5) numbers gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 100,000.
If you match all the numbers, you win the jackpot prize which starts at PhP 29.7 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system bet. This option allows you to choose up to 12 numbers rather than just 6, thereby producing a larger number of combinations.
You can choose from seven available system plays. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket price shall depend on the total number of generated combinations.

System 8 is the 6/55 Grand Lotto system bet that allows bettors to select a total of eight (8) numbers instead of the typical six (6) numbers. This play type produces 28 combinations in all and costs PhP 560 (Php 20 x 28 combinations).
To play System 8, just choose your preferred 8-number combination and then mark the number 8 in the SYS column of the 6/55 Lotto bet card.
How much does a 6/55 Grand Lotto ticket cost now?
A player can buy the 6/55 Grandlotto ticket for 20 Pesos per number combination at the nearest authorized PCSO lotto outlet. This amount is inclusive of the Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
How many combinations are there in System 11 for 6/55 Grand Lotto?

Can I cancel or refund the Grand Lotto 6/55 ticket I already paid?
