PCSO uses a payout structure for Mega Lotto 6/45 based on ‘pari mutuel’ system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a given draw, then split the pool by the total number of winners.

Here is the updated 6/45 Lotto payout system:

• Getting six (6) out of the six (6) winning numbers in any order gives you the latest jackpot for Megalotto. The jackpot starts at PhP 8,910,000.
• Getting five (5) out of the six (6) numbers drawn wins you a fixed prize in the amount of PhP 32,000.
• If you matched four (4) of the six (6) winning numbers, you take home a fixed amount of PhP 1,000.
• In case your number matches three (3) out of the six (6) numbers drawn, you take home a prize worth PhP 30.

A 20% tax will be automatically deducted from your prizes if its total amount exceeds PhP 10,000.

PCSO has implemented the rules below to be followed by 6/45 Lotto bettors in the country.

1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors without face mask will not be permitted to play 6/45 Lotto.
2. Observe social distancing at all times while in the lotto outlet.
3. Bring your own pen when placing bets.
4. Place the bet slips and money in the tray provided by the outlet to lessen physical contact.
5. Apply sanitizers or alcohols before you leave the lotto outlet.
6. Use the trash bins provided to put away used play slips and/or old tickets.

6/45 Mega Lotto System Plays – How to Increase your Odds of Winning the Jackpot

6/45 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the default six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

If you want to play system plays, these are the options you can choose from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a bettor who picks this option would have to mark seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the player will have to select a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.

The more numbers chosen, the higher the number of combinations produced. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.

In the case of System 5R, you only have to select five (5) numbers instead of the typical six-number combination. The remaining unmarked numbers in the play slip (40 in all) will be matched with the 5 numbers you chose, thus creating 40 combinations in all.

Note that your total bet cost will be much higher in system plays due to the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The overall price of the ticket shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

March 10, 2021– PCSO discourages everyone from buying lotto tickets from persons claiming to be part of a alleged PCSO ‘online’ betting platform. The agency said it does not have any such platform yet.

January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto draws starting August 4, 2020.
