Grand Lotto 6/55 System Plays – Increase the Odds of Winning

6/55 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the default six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

The available system plays in 6/55 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a player who chooses this option would need to mark seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the bettor will need to choose a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 55.

In essence, more and more number combinations are produced as the marked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.

With regard to System 5R, a bettor chooses only five (5) numbers and—for the sixth number—pairs these off with each of the remaining fifty (50) numbers, producing a total of 50 six-number combinations.

Remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall bet cost will be. The total ticket price is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

The following table shows the number of combination as well as the corresponding ticket cost for every system bet.
