PCSO employs pari mutel wagering system in calculating Mega Lotto prizes. This means that the actual prize that each winner will get depends on the gross sales and number of winners on a certain prize rank.
Below are the different prizes for each tier of the Mega Lotto 6/45 payout system:
- Jackpot prize awaits those who will get six (6) out of the six (6) number drawn in any order. Jackpot prize begins at PhP 8,910,000.

- Go to any PCSO-authorized lotto outlet near you and get the Mega Lotto 6/45 bet slip.
- Pick six (6) numbers between 1 to 45. These numbers will be your 6/45 Lotto combination.
- Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option instructs the terminal to automatically generate the number combination for you.
- You can also raise your chances of winning through the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can mark more than the usual six (6) numbers thus increasing your total number combinations.
- Mark the number of consecutive draws you want to play in the Draw panel.
- Pay the total ticket price to the teller and get your printed lotto ticket.
- See the 6/45 Lotto Result right after the 9:00 pm live draw to know if you won a prize.
One Mega Lotto combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the the Megalotto ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your Lotto 6/45 ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize.
To win the Jackpot, you must match all 6 numbers. The Initial Jackpot Prize (IJP) for Megalotto 6/45 is 8,910,000.00 (net of agent’s prize commission). If no one wins the jackpot in a particular MegaLotto 6/45 draw, the prize amount is carried forward into the next MegaLotto 6/45 draw. If there is more than one jackpot winner, the Jackpot prize will then be divided equally among all the winners.

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following guidelines in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Always wear your face mask. Bettors without face mask will not be allowed to buy 6/45 Lotto tickets.

Mega Lotto 6/45 System Bets – Increase the Odds of Winning
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and creates several combinations of your chosen numbers.
The available system plays in 6/45 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
A total of seven (7) combinations are produced in System 7 because a bettor who selects this option would have to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are created because the bettor will need to choose a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.
In essence, more and more number combinations are generated as the marked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.
With regard to System 5-Roll, a bettor picks only five (5) numbers and—for the sixth number—pairs these off with each of the remaining forty (40) numbers, creating a total of 40 six-number combinations.
Please note that your overall bet cost will be much higher in system bets due to the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The total price of the ticket shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations created.

How do I win a prize in 6/45 Mega Lotto?
You win a prize by matching at least three (3) numbers of the drawn 6/45 Mega Lotto combination. The more matching numbers, the bigger the prizes you will win.
Getting three (3) of the winning number combination gives you PhP 30, four (4) matching numbers gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) numbers gives you a prize equal to PhP 32,000.
If you got all the winning numbers, you win the jackpot prize which starts at PhP 8.91 Million.
You can increase your odds of winning the jackpot by picking up to 12 numbers using a system bet. This type of bet produces a bigger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.

PCSO Official Announcements & Press Releases
March 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the betting public against buying lotto tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. The agency confirms it has no such platform yet in place that will cater to such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
