The prize that each winner receives depend on the total number of winners as well as gross sales. PCSO uses a prize structure for Grand Lotto based on this pari mutuel wagering computation.

  • In case your combination matches six (6) out of the six (6) numbers drawn in any order, you hit the latest jackpot prize for the Grandlotto 6/55 game. Initial jackpot is PhP 29,700,000 but this amount grows higher every time nobody wins the jackpot.
  • Matching five (5) out of the six (6) drawn numbers wins you the second prize in the amount of PhP 100,000.
  • In case you got four (4) numbers of the winning number combination, you take home a prize of PhP 1,500.

How to Play Grand Lotto 6/55

Before proceeding, keep in mind that only 18 years old and above are allowed to play.

These are the detailed steps when playing Grand Lotto:

  1. Go to the nearest PCSO-authorized lottery agent and get a bet slip with Grand Lotto 6/55 logo.
  2. Pick six (6) digits that will comprise your 6/55 Lotto combination. You can select from numbers 1 to 49.
  3. Choose LP (Lucky Pick) if you want the system to automatically choose the number combination for you.
  4. You can also increase your chances of winning using the 6/55 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can choose more than the usual six (6) numbers thus increasing your total number combinations.
  5. For Advance Plays, select the number of consecutive draws in the Draw section.
  6. Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
  7. After the draw, access the 6/55 Lotto Result to verify if you won the prize.

One 6/55 Grand Lotto number combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

6/55 Grand Lotto System Plays – How to Increase the Odds of Winning the Jackpot

You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/55 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates multiple combinations of your chosen numbers.

The available system bets in 6/55 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

With System 7, a bettor marks seven (7) numbers which creates a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the bettor selects eight (8) numbers, generating a total of 28 combinations.

The more numbers chosen, the higher the number of combinations generated. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.

If you match three (3) out of the six (6) winning numbers, you receive PhP 60, four (4) out of six (6) wins you a prize worth PhP 1,500 while five (5) out of six (6) wins you a prize equal to PhP 100,000.

If you match all the numbers, you win the jackpot prize which begins at PhP 29.7 Million.

You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot by choosing up to 12 numbers using a system bet. This type of bet produces a larger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.

The system plays you can select from are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.

What is Lucky Pick in Lotto 6/55?

The Lucky Pick or LP option lets the computer to automatically select the Lotto 6/55 number combination for you if you do not have any number in mind.

How many combinations are there in System 9 for 6/55 Grand Lotto?

System 9 lets you to pick a nine (9) number combination instead of the typical combination composed of six (6) numbers. This type of Grandlotto 6/55 system play generates a total of 84 combinations and costs PhP 1,680 (Php 20 x 84 combinations).

How can I choose more than 6 numbers in the 6/55 Lotto bet slip?

You can select more than 6 numbers by playing any of the system bets for 6/55 Grandlotto. You can choose from System 7 (7 numbers), System 8 (8 numbers), System 9 (8 numbers), System 10 (10 numbers), System 11 (11 numbers) and System 12 (12 numbers).

What does DST stand for?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).

PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/55 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements

February 10, 2021– PCSO warns the betting public against buying tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. The agency states it has no such system yet in place that will cater to such transactions.

January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 6D and 4D Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto draws on August 4, 2020.

July 18, 2020– PCSO announces the return of the PhP 20 ticket price of its major games. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 after the TRAIN Act took effect.
