PCSO employs a prize structure for Mega Lotto 6/45 based on ‘pari mutuel’ system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a given draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.
Here are the different prizes for each range of the 6/45 Megalotto payout system:
- In case your number matches six (6) out of the six (6) numbers drawn in any order, you hit the jackpot for the Mega Lotto game. Starting jackpot is PhP 8,910,000 but this amount gets larger every time no one wins the jackpot.

- View the 6/45 Lotto Result after the 9pm live draw to verify if you matched the winning combination.
Megalotto 6/45 ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the Megalotto 6/45 ticket. Store it in a safe and dry place.
Do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.

- Use your own ball pen when buying lotto tickets.
- Use the money tray to decrease contact.
- Use the hand sanitizer, alcohols or disinfectant provided before you leave the lotto outlet.
- Use the garbage bins provided to discard used play slips and/or old tickets.
Megalotto 6/45 System Plays – Improve your Odds of Winning
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates several combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the options available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
With System 7, a bettor picks seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the bettor marks eight (8) numbers, generating a total of 28 combinations.
The more numbers marked, the higher the number of combinations generated. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
In System 5R, you only have to pick five (5) numbers instead of the usual six-number combination. The remaining unselected numbers in the bet card (40 in all) will be matched with the 5 numbers you selected, thus creating 40 combinations in all.
Please note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall bet cost will be. The total price of the ticket is PhP 20 times the number of combinations generated.

In Mega Lotto 6/45, you win a prize by matching at least three (3) out of the six (6) numbers drawn. More matching number means bigger prizes for you.
Matching three (3) of the winning number combination gives you PhP 30, four (4) matching numbers wins you a prize worth PhP 1,000 while five (5) numbers wins you a fixed amount equal to PhP 32,000.
Matching all the numbers gives you the jackpot prize worth no less than PhP 8.9 Million.
You can increase your chances of hitting the jackpot by selecting up to 12 numbers using a system bet. This type of bet generates a larger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.

March 10, 2021– PCSO discourages everyone from buying tickets from entities claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. PCSO states it does not have any such platform yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major games. Ticket prices were previously raised to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Act.
