PCSO uses a prize structure for 6/58 Ultra Lotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ wagering system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lotto bets in a certain draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.

To play PCSO’s 6/58 Ultra Lotto game, follow these detailed steps:
- Go to the nearest PCSO-authorized lottery outlet and get a betting card with Ultra Lotto 6/58 logo.
- Choose six (6) digits that will compose your 6/58 Lotto combination. You can select from numbers 1 to 58.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, choose Lucky Pick (LP) to let the terminal pick the numbers for you.
- You can also pick up to twelve (12) numbers using the 6/58 Lotto System Play to improve your odds of hitting the jackpot.
- For Advance Plays, select the number of consecutive draws in the Draw section.
- Give your bet slip and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket after it is generated.
- After the draw, check the 6/58 Lotto result to verify if you won the prize.
Each 6/58 Ultralotto number combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total bet amount would vary from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your Lotto 6/58 ticket and store it in secure and dry place.
Your 6/58 Ultra Lotto ticket needs to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket.
Six balls numbered from 1 to 58 will be drawn and you win the jackpot prize by matching all of the drawn numbers, in any order. If two or more persons win the jackpot, payment for each winner is determined by dividing equally the jackpot amount.You also win prizes if you match any 3, 4, or 5 numbers of the winning 6-number combination, in any order.

Ultra Lotto System Bets – Improve your Chances of Winning
6/58 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
The available system bets in 6/58 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a bettor who picks this option would have to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the bettor will need to select a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 58.
The overall number of combinations increases as the chosen numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
With regard to System 5-Roll, the bettor will only have to choose five (5) numbers. The remaining (unmarked) 53 numbers will be combined with the 5 marked numbers. This produces a total of 53 combinations.
Please note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall ticket cost will be. The total ticket price is PhP 20 times the number of combinations produced.

How to win a prize in Lotto 6/58?
You win a prize by getting at least three (3) numbers of the drawn Ultralotto 6/58 combination. The more matching numbers, the higher the prizes you will get.
If you match three (3) out of the six (6) drawn numbers, you receive PhP 100, four (4) out of six (6) gives you a prize worth PhP 2,000 while five (5) out of six (6) wins you a prize equal to PhP 120,000.
Getting all the numbers wins you the jackpot prize worth no less than PhP 49.50 Million.
You can increase your odds of winning by playing a system bet. With this option, you can select up to 12 numbers per column in the bet card, thereby creating up to 924 number combinations.
There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
The cost of tickets in system plays depend on the overall number of combinations generated.

PCSO only allows persons aged 18 and above to play the Ultra Lotto 6/58. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place because of the on-going COVID-19 pandemic.
How many combinations are there in System 5R for 6/58 Ultra Lotto?
System 5R (5-Roll) is the Ultralotto 6/58 system play which allows the bettor to select only five (5) numbers instead of the default 6 number combination.
To complete the combination, the computer automatically combines each of the remaining 53 “unselected” numbers in the play card to the five numbers you already marked.
This creates a total of 53 combinations and guarantees that you will get at least one (1) winning number in your combinations.
System 5R costs Php 1,060 (Php 20 x 53).
To play System 5R, just select your preferred 5-number combination and then mark 5R in the SYS section of the 6/58 Lotto bet card.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements
February 10, 2021– PCSO warns the public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. The agency states it has no such platform yet in place that will support such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 4D and 6D Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto operation on August 4, 2020.
July 18, 2020– PCSO announces the return of the PhP 20 ticket price of its major lotto games. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 after the TRAIN Law took effect.
