PCSO employs a prize system for Lotto 6/42 based on ‘pari mutuel’ wagering system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lotto bets in a given draw, then split the pool by the total number of winners.
Here are the different prizes for each level of the 6/42 Lotto payout table:
- If you got six (6) numbers of the winning number combination in any order, you take home the jackpot for the PCSO Lotto 6/42 game. The top prize starts at PhP 5,940,000.
- A second prize of PhP 24,000 awaits those who will match five (5) out of the six (6) drawn numbers.
- A third prize worth PhP 800 awaits those who will match four (4) out of the six (6) number drawn.

Before proceeding, remember that only 18 years old and above are allowed to play.
These are the detailed instructions when playing PCSO Lotto 6/42:
- Go to a lottery outlet authorized by PCSO near you and grab the PCSO Lotto 6/42 bet slip.
- Choose a combination of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Two (42) in each column of the betting card.
- Choose LP (Lucky Pick) in case you want the system to automatically generate the number combination for you.
- Optionally mark one of the options under the 6/42 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can pick more than the usual six number combination.
- If you want to play multiple draws, select the number of consecutive draws in the Draw panel.
- Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
- Check the 6/42 Lotto Result after the 9 PM live draw to see if you got the winning combination.
Each 6/42 Lotto combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total play amount would vary from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your 6/42 Lotto ticket and keep it in safe and dry place.
Your PCSO Lotto 6/42 ticket has to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket.

PCSO Lotto 6/42 System Plays – How to Increase your Odds of Winning the Jackpot
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/42 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and creates numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.
In case you want to try system plays, these are the options you can select from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
With System 7, a bettor picks seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the player picks eight (8) numbers, generating a total of 28 combinations.
The overall number of combinations increases as the chosen numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
With regard to System 5R, you only pick five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5-Roll, the 5 numbers you have selected are automatically paired with each of the remaining 37 digits in the play slip, producing a total of 37 six-number combinations.
Note that your overall bet cost will be much higher in system bets due to the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The overall ticket cost shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

How do I win a prize in 6/42 Lotto?
You win a prize by matching at least three (3) numbers of the winning PCSO Lotto 6/42 combination. The more matching numbers, the higher the prizes you will win.
If you match three (3) out of six (6), you receive PhP 20. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 800 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 24,000.
If you got all the six (6) winning numbers correctly, you get the jackpot prize of at least PhP 5.94 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system bet. This option allows you to mark up to 12 numbers instead of just 6, thereby generating a higher number of combinations.
The system plays you can select from are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket price shall be based on the total number of generated combinations.

How many combinations are there in System 8 for 6/42 Lotto?
System 8 is the Lotto 6/42 system play that lets players to select a total of eight (8) numbers instead of the typical six (6) numbers. This play type generates 28 combinations in all and costs PhP 560 (Php 20 x 28 combinations).
To play System 8, simply choose your preferred 8-number combination and then mark the number 8 in the SYS column of the 6/42 Lotto betting card.
What if I cannot think of any PCSO Lotto 6/42 number to play?
The Lucky Pick or LP option instructs the computer to automatically pick the PCSO Lotto 6/42 number combination for you if you cannot think of any number to bet on.

March 10, 2021– PCSO discourages everyone from purchasing tickets from persons claiming to be part of a alleged PCSO ‘online’ betting system. PCSO said it does not have any such system yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 4-Digit and 6-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto draws on August 4, 2020.
July 18, 2020– PCSO announces the return of the PhP 20 ticket price of its major lotto games. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 after the TRAIN Law took effect.
