Prizes in 6/42 Lotto are split equally to the winners of each prize rank. This is the reason why the minor prizes are sometimes lower than the standard amount.
Here are the different prizes for each tier of the PCSO Lotto 6/42 payout system:
- Jackpot prize awaits those who will get six (6) out of the six (6) drawn winning numbers in any order. Jackpot prize starts at PhP 5,940,000.

Before proceeding, please remember that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play.
To play the Lotto 6/42 game, follow these detailed steps:
- Go to the nearest authorized PCSO lottery outlet and grab a bet card with PCSO Lotto 6/42 logo.
- Select a set of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Two (42) in each column of the bet slip.
- Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option instructs the system to randomly choose the numbers for you.
- You can also select up to twelve (12) numbers using the 6/42 Lotto System Play to improve your chances of hitting the jackpot.
- Mark the number of consecutive draws you want to play in the Draw section.
- Hand over your play card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket once it is generated.
- Check the 6/42 Lotto Result after the scheduled draw to verify if your ticket matches the winning number combination.
PCSO Lotto 6/42 ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the the PCSO Lotto 6/42 ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your PCSO Lotto 6/42 ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets need to be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.

- Use the money tray to minimize physical contact.

National Lotto 6/42 System Bets – Improve the Chances of Winning
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/42 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the options available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
In System 7, a bettor picks seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the player selects a total of eight (8) numbers creating a total of 28 combinations.
The overall number of combinations increases as the selected numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In the case of System 5-Roll, the player selects five (5) numbers instead of six. These 5 numbers are automatically partnered with the remaining thirty-seven (37) numbers, generating 37 six-number combinations in all.
Please remember that your total bet cost will be much higher in system plays due to the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The total ticket cost shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

You can increase your odds of winning the jackpot by picking up to 12 numbers using a system play. This type of bet generates a bigger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
