Philippine Lotto 6/42 System Plays – Improve the Chances of Winning

6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

The system bets available in 6/42 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).

A total of seven (7) combinations are produced in System 7 because a bettor who chooses this option would need to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the bettor will need to pick a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.

The more numbers marked, the higher the number of combinations generated. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.

With System 5-Roll, the bettor selects five (5) numbers instead of six. These 5 numbers are automatically combined with the remaining thirty-seven (37) numbers, producing 37 combinations in total.

Note that your total bet cost will be much higher in system bets because of the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The total ticket cost shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations produced.

The following table reflects the number of combination as well as the corresponding ticket cost for every system bet.
