How to Play 2D Lotto

To play 2D Lotto, follow these detailed steps:

  1. Pick two (2) numbers between 1 to 31, one from each column. These digits will be your 2D Lotto combination.
  2. Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option lets the system to randomly choose the numbers for you.
  3. Choose Rambolito in case you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the system automatically permutates and generates all the possible combinations for the numbers you picked.
  4. Choose the bet amount in the AMT column.
  5. Choose the number of draws you want to play in the Draw panel.
  6. Give your bet card and payment to the teller and get your printed ticket once printed.
  7. View the 2D result after the live draw to know if your ticket matches the winning number combination.

Each 2D Lotto combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

After placing your bet, sign the back portion of the 2D Lotto ticket and store it in safe and dry place.

Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your 2D Lotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets must be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.

Note that only 18 years old and above are allowed to play and claim the lotto prizes.

You win 4,000.00 for every 12.00 play, if your selected 2-number combination match the winning 2-number combination in exact order. If you have selected the winning 2-number combination and have chosen the “Rambolito” game, you win 2,000.00 for every 12.00 play.

Additional Health and Safety Rules to be Observed when Playing 2D Lotto

During this time of pandemic, PCSO requires 2D Lotto bettors to observe the rules below when transacting in all lotto outlets nationwide.

  1. Always wear your face mask. Bettors without face mask will not be permitted to play 2D Lotto.
  2. Follow physical distancing at all times while in the lotto outlet.
  3. Bring your own ball pen when purchasing lotto tickets.
  4. Use the tray provided when handing out your play card and payment.
  5. Use the hand sanitizer, alcohols or disinfectant provided before you leave the outlet.
  6. Throw away your used play card and non-winning tickets into the garbage can.

2D Lotto Prizes for Rambolito and Standard/Straight Plays

2D Lotto is one of PCSO’s popular fixed-prize game. PCSO uses the following payout system for 2D Lotto:

In Standard or Straight Play, a bettor takes home PhP 4,000 in case he matches the two winning numbers in exact order.

In Rambolito play, the player wins PhP 2,000 in case he gets the two winning numbers in any order.

How do I win a prize in 2D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 2D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you choose two (2) digits, one for each column consisting of numbers 1 to 31.

If your number combination matches the 2D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you select Rambolito option in the bet card.

In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize even if your selected combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much lower than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the 2D results in any order.

Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?

PCSO generally cancels its lotto draws during regular holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO adjusts its draw schedule so that all draws are completed early in the afternoon.

Are 2D Lotto winnings tax-exempt?

2D Lotto winnings are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Law because the maximum 2D Lotto winning is only PhP 4,000.

Only winnings above PhP 10,000 are subject to 20% tax.

How much do I win in 2D Lotto?

In Standard/Straight play, you win PhP 4,000 if you match the winning combination in exact order.

In Rambolito play, you win PhP 2,000 if you match the winning combination in any order.

What is Rambolito?

Rambolito is a 2D Lotto game variant that allows its bettors receive prizes even if they did not get the winning numbers in exact order.

With Rambolito, the two possible combination of your selected numbers will be generated (e.g. 01-09 and 09-01). If the 2D winning numbers match your number combination in any order, you take home a prize worth PhP 2,000.

To play Rambolito, mark the Rambolito option in the 2D Lotto bet slip.

How do I void an entry in the EZ2 play slip?

To cancel or disregard a specific 2D Lotto number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before handing over the play card to the cashier.

Please note that you can only void a 2D Lotto entry before purchasing the ticket. A 2D Lotto entry that has been accepted by the terminal can no longer be canceled or voided.
