EZ2 Lotto is a game of two numbers from One (1) to Thirty-One (31). It was rebranded in 2019 as “2D Lotto” and has become one of the extremely popular digit games in the Philippines since its inception in 2004. There are two plays in EZ2 Lotto. These are the Standard Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,000 and the Rambolito Play which has a prize of PhP 2,000. The odds of winning these prizes are respectively at 1 in 961 and 1 in 465.

PCSO holds 2D EZ2 Lotto draws at 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM every day except when a prior announcement is made. Postponement of draws normally happens during major holidays.

How to Play EZ2 Lotto

These are the complete steps when playing the PCSO EZ2 Lotto:

  1. Pick your EZ2 number combination by marking one (1) out of numbers 1 to 31 in each of the columns.
  2. Mark LP (Lucky Pick) if you want the terminal to automatically select the numbers for you.
  3. Choose Rambolito if you want to play the Rambolito System Play.
  4. Mark the bet amount in the AMT column.
  5. For Advance Plays, select the number of consecutive draws in the Draw panel.
  6. Pay the total ticket price to the teller and get your printed EZ2 Lotto ticket.
  7. Access the EZ2 result after the scheduled draw to know if you won a prize.

EZ2 ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Make sure to sign the back portion of the your EZ2 ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a secure and dry place.

Your ticket must be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket.

Remember that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim prizes.

Remember to win in the 2D Lotto, ALL of your numbers must match ALL of the winning combination in EXACT ORDER.

Important Health and Safety Guidelines to be Followed when Playing EZ2 Lotto

In light of the on-going pandemic, EZ2 Lotto enthusiasts must observe the following rules and regulations imposed at all lotto outlets when placing bets to ensure that the minimum health and safety standards are met.

  1. Put on your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting system shall be implemented at all PCSO outlets in the country.
  2. Observe social distancing when buying EZ2 tickets.
  3. Bring your own ball pen to decrease the risk of getting infected with the virus.
  4. Place the play slips and money in the tray provided by the lotto outlet to lessen physical contact.
  5. Apply alcohols or sanitizers before you leave the lotto outlet.
  6. Use the garbage cans provided to put away used bet slips and/or old lotto tickets.

EZ2 Lotto is one of the digit games of PCSO. In EZ2 Lotto, matching the two (2) winning numbers in exact order wins you PhP 4,000 per 12 peso Standard play.

Betting via the Rambolito gives you a prize of PhP 2,000 if you match the two (2) winning numbers in any order.

Frequently Asked Questions about EZ2 – Everything you Need to Know about EZ2 Lotto

How can I win prizes in EZ2 Lotto?

You win a prize by playing EZ2 in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you choose two (2) digits, one for each column composed of numbers 1 to 31.

If your entry matches the EZ2 winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you choose Rambolito option in your bet card.

In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize even if your marked combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prize in Rambolito Play is much smaller than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the EZ2 results in any order.

Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?

PCSO generally cancels its lotto draws during regular holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO modifies its draw schedule so that all draws are finished early in the afternoon.

Do I win anything if I get all the EZ2 winning numbers but NOT in exact order?

You win PhP 2,000 but only if you picked the Rambolito option.

You do not win anything in Straight or Standard Play in case your EZ2 number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.

Can I play EZ2 Lotto in Advance?

You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just mark your preferred number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your EZ2 combination shall then be played repeatedly based on the number of draws you selected.

For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen EZ2 entry shall be valid for the subsequent six (6) EZ2 draws.

What is Documentary Stamps Tax?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).

PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

What happens if wrong numbers are printed in the EZ2 ticket?

EZ2 tickets, once printed, can no longer be modified. Hence, bettors are advised to check their tickets before leaving the outlet. Bettors are responsible for verifying the information printed on their EZ2 tickets.

How to claim the EZ2 Lotto Prize?

If you won in any of the EZ2 draws today, remember these useful tips when claiming your prize.

To claim EZ2 Lotto prizes below PhP 5,000, proceed to the nearest authorized lotto outlet or nearest PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.

Prizes above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at the nearest PCSO branch office.

Lotto winnings above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO head office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.
