How to Play EZ2 Lotto

PCSO EZ2 is a popular fixed-prize game of two (2) numbers from One (1) to Thirty One (31). Here’s how you can play the EZ2 Lotto:

  1. Select two (2) digits between 1 to 31, one from each column. These numbers will be your EZ2 combination.
  2. Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option lets the system to randomly generate the numbers for you.
  3. Mark Rambolito in case you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the computer automatically computes and generates all the possible combinations for the digits you picked.
  4. Pick your bet amount in the AMT column.
  5. Choose the number of draws you want to join in the Draw section.
  6. Hand over your play card and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
  7. View the EZ2 result right after the live draw to know if your ticket matches the winning number combination.

EZ2 ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the EZ2 ticket. Store it in a safe and dry place.

Do not soak in water, fold or iron or write anything on your EZ2 ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets need to be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.

Remember that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play and claim lotto prizes.

You can also mark “Rambolito” if you want to play the 2D Lotto System bet. The minimum play amount is 12.00 per 2-number combination.

In light of the on-going pandemic, EZ2 Lotto bettors must observe the following rules and regulations imposed at all PCSO lotto outlets when purchasing tickets to ensure that the minimum health and safety protocols are met.

  1. Put on your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting system shall be carried out at all PCSO lotto outlets in the country.
  2. Follow social distancing when placing EZ2 bets.
  3. Use your own pen to decrease the risk of contracting the virus.
  4. Put the play slips and money in the tray provided by the outlet to minimize physical contact.
  5. Use disinfectants or sanitizers before leaving the lotto outlet.
  6. Use the garbage bins provided to put away used play slips and/or old lotto tickets.

How can I win prizes in EZ2 Lotto?

You win a prize by playing EZ2 in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you pick two (2) numbers, one for each column consisting of numbers 1 to 31.

If your entry matches the EZ2 winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you mark Rambolito option in the play card.

In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize even if your chosen combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prize in Rambolito Play is much less than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the EZ2 results in any order.

What does DST stand for?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).

PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

Who are permitted to play EZ2 Lotto?

Only persons 18 years old and above are allowed to play the EZ2 Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place owing to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

You win PhP 2,000 but only if you marked the Rambolito option.

You do not win anything in Straight or Standard Play if your EZ2 number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.

What happens if wrong numbers are printed in the EZ2 ticket?

EZ2 tickets, once printed, can no longer be changed. Hence, players are advised to examine their tickets before leaving the lotto outlet. Bettors are responsible for checking the information printed on their tickets.
