EZ2 Lotto is a game of two numbers from One (1) to Thirty-One (31). It was rebranded in 2019 as “2D Lotto” and has become one of the hugely popular fixed-prize lotteries accross the cuntry since its launch in 2004. There are two plays in EZ2 Lotto. These are the Standard Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,000 and the Rambolito Play which has a prize of PhP 2,000. The odds of getting these prizes are respectively at 1 in 961 and 1 in 465.

How to Play EZ2 Lotto

Playing EZ2 Lotto is easy. Here’s the step-by-step instruction for playing this popular numbers game:

  1. Select two (2) numbers between 1 to 31, one from each column. These numbers will be your EZ2 combination.
  2. Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option lets the computer to randomly choose the number combination for you.
  3. Mark Rambolito in case you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the system automatically computes and generates all the possible combinations for the numbers you chose.
  4. Select the bet amount in the AMT section.
  5. Mark the number of draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
  6. Give your playing card and payment to the teller and get your printed ticket once printed.
  7. View the EZ2 result after the live draw to see if your ticket matches the winning number combination.

EZ2 ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Make sure to sign the back of the your EZ2 ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a safe and dry place.

Do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize.

Note that you must be at least 18 years old to play and claim prizes.

Remember to win in the 2D Lotto, ALL of your numbers must match ALL of the winning combination in EXACT ORDER.

Additional Rules to be Observed by Bettors when Playing EZ2 Lotto

PCSO has implemented the protocol below to be observed by EZ2 bettors in the country.

  1. Put on your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting policy shall be followed at all PCSO lotto outlets nationwide.
  2. Follow physical distancing when buying EZ2 tickets.
  3. Bring your own pen to reduce the risk of contracting the virus.
  4. Place the play slips and money in the tray provided by the lotto outlet to decrease physical contact.
  5. Use sanitizers or alcohols before leaving the lotto outlet.
  6. Use the trash bins provided to discard used play slips and/or non-winning lotto tickets.

EZ2 Lotto Prizes for Standard/Straight and Rambolito Plays

PCSO EZ2 Lotto comes with two different prizes for its Straight/Standard and Rambolito plays.

In Straight or Standard play, a player who matches the two drawn winning numbers in exact order wins PhP 4,000.

In Rambolito Play, the player receives PhP 2,000 in case he matches the two different digits in any order.

What are the ways to win in EZ2 Lotto?

You win a prize by playing EZ2 in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you select two (2) digits, one for each column consisting of digits 1 to 31.

If your number combination matches the EZ2 winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Standard/Straight Play is the default play unless you select Rambolito option in your playing card.

In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize even if your selected combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much less than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the EZ2 results in any order.

What is the price of an EZ2 Lotto ticket?

A player can buy the EZ2 ticket for 12 Pesos per number combination at the nearest authorized PCSO lotto outlet. This amount is inclusive of the Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

What is DST?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Act).

PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

How do I correct the numbers I entered in the EZ2 bet slip?

To cancel or disregard a specific EZ2 entry, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the bet slip to the teller.

Please note that you can only void an EZ2 entry before purchasing the ticket. An EZ2 number combination that has been accepted by the computer can no longer be canceled or voided.

Do I win anything even if I DO NOT get the EZ2 winning numbers in the same order?

You win PhP 2,000 but only if you marked the Rambolito option.

You do not win anything in Straight or Standard Play in case your EZ2 number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.

Where do I go to claim my EZ2 Lotto Prize?

To claim EZ2 Lotto winnings below PhP 5,000, go to the authorized lotto outlet or PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.

Winnings above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at the nearest PCSO branch office.

PCSO Official Announcements & Press Statements

February 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the betting public to not to patronize persons and entities claiming to be part of PCSO and luring them to purchase tickets online using their platform. To date, the agency has no online betting system yet whether through an app, text or calls.

January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major games. Ticket prices were previously increased to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Law.
