How to Play EZ2 Lotto

Playing EZ2 Lotto is easy. Here’s the step-by-step instruction for playing this popular numbers game:

  1. Choose a combination of two (2) numbers from one (1) to thirty-one (31) in each column on an EZ2 play slip.
  2. If you can’t think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to allow the computer pick the EZ2 number combination for you.
  3. Choose Rambolito in case you want the system to automatically compute all the possible combinations of the numbers you have marked.
  4. Choose the amount that you want to play for each combination.
  5. For Advance Plays, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw Draw panel.
  6. Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
  7. See the EZ2 result after the live draw to know if you matched the winning number combination.

Each EZ2 number combination costs PhP 12. The bet amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Make sure to sign the back of the the EZ2 ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a secure and dry place.

Do not soak in water, fold or iron or write anything on your EZ2 ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets must be machine-validated when claiming prizes.

Please note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the lotto prizes.

In playing via Advance Draws, mark how many consecutive draws you want to play in the DRAW panel. You can play the same numbers and play type for six (6) consecutive draws. Pay 12.00 for each play per draw.

Important Protocols to be Followed by Bettors when Playing EZ2 Lotto

In light of the on-going pandemic, EZ2 Lotto enthusiasts must abide by the following rules and regulations imposed at all lotto outlets when placing bets to ensure that the minimum health and safety standards are met.

  1. Put on your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting policy shall be carried out in all outlets in the country.
  2. Follow physical distancing when buying EZ2 tickets.
  3. Use your own pen to decrease the risk of catching the virus.

How to win a prize in EZ2 Lotto?

You win a prize by playing EZ2 in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you pick two (2) numbers, one for each column composed of numbers 1 to 31.

If your number combination matches the EZ2 winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you mark Rambolito option in your play card.

In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize even if your marked combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much smaller than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the EZ2 results in any order.

Rambolito is an EZ2 Lotto game variant that allows its players win prizes even if they did not match the winning numbers in exact order.

With Rambolito, the two possible permutations of your selected numbers will be generated (e.g. 11-06 and 06-11). If the EZ2 results match your number combination in any order, you win a prize of PhP 2,000.

To play Rambolito, select the Rambolito option in the EZ2 bet card.

What are the odds of winning a prize in EZ2 Lotto?

In EZ2 Lotto Standard Play, the odds of matching the three winning numbers in exact order is 1 in 961 while the chances of winning in EZ2 Rambolito Play is 1 in 465.

I am below 18 years old, am I allowed to play EZ2 Lotto?

PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play the EZ2 Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place because of the current COVID-19 epidemic.

What does DST stand for?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).

PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

Can I play the same EZ2 combination in advance?

You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just mark your intended number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your EZ2 entry shall then be played multiple times according to the number of draws you picked.

For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen EZ2 entry shall be valid for the subsequent six (6) EZ2 draws.

How do I claim my EZ2 Lotto Prize?

If you won in any of the EZ2 draws today, pay attention to these helpful tips when claiming your prize.

To claim EZ2 Lotto prizes below PhP 5,000, go to the authorized lotto outlet or nearest PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.

Prizes above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at the nearest PCSO branch office.

Lotto winnings above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO head office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements

February 10, 2021– PCSO discourages everyone from buying lotto tickets from entities claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. PCSO states it does not have any such platform yet.

January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto draws on August 4, 2020.

July 18, 2020– All major lotto ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously increased to PhP 24 as mandated under the TRAIN Act.
