How to Play EZ2 Lotto

PCSO EZ2 is a popular fixed-prize game of two (2) numbers from One (1) to Thirty One (31). Here’s how you can play the EZ2 Lotto:

  1. Choose two (2) digits between 1 to 31, one from each column. These numbers will be your EZ2 combination.
  2. Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option lets the system to randomly pick the numbers for you.
  3. Mark Rambolito if you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the computer automatically permutates and generates all the possible combinations for the numbers you marked.
  4. Pick your bet amount in the AMT column.
  5. Choose the number of draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
  6. Hand over your play card and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
  7. Check the EZ2 result right after the scheduled draw to see if your ticket matches the winning combination.

Each EZ2 number combination costs PhP 12. The bet amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Make sure to sign the back portion of the the EZ2 ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.

Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your EZ2 ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets have to be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.

Remember that you must be at least 18 years old to play and claim prizes.

Just like 3D Lotto, 2D Lotto has three (3) draws each day. The first draw starts at 11AM followed by 4PM and the evening draws at 9PM.

Additional PCSO Regulations to be Followed when Playing EZ2 Lotto

In light of the on-going pandemic, EZ2 Lotto enthusiasts must observe the following rules and regulations imposed at all PCSO outlets when placing bets to ensure that the minimum health and safety protocols are met.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Players with no face mask will not be allowed to purchase EZ2 tickets.
  2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
  3. Bring your own ball pen.
  4. Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Alcohol or hand sanitizers are available in the betting area.
  5. Use the money tray to reduce contact.
  6. Avoid littering and throw away any used bet slips or old lotto tickets in the garbage bins.

EZ2 Prizes for Rambolito and Standard/Straight Plays

EZ2 Lotto is one of the digit games of PCSO. In EZ2 Lotto, getting the two (2) winning numbers in exact order wins you PhP 4,000 per 12 peso Standard play.

Playing via the Rambolito gives you a prize of PhP 2,000 if you get the two (2) winning numbers in any order.

How can I win prizes in EZ2 Lotto?

You win a prize by playing EZ2 in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you pick two (2) digits, one for each column consisting of digits 1 to 31.

If your entry matches the EZ2 winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you choose Rambolito option in your play card.

In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize regardless if your marked combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prize in Rambolito Play is much smaller than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the EZ2 results in any order.

You win PhP 2,000 but only if you chose the Rambolito option.

You do not win anything in Straight or Standard Play if your EZ2 number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.

Can I get a refund for the EZ2 ticket that I bought?

You cannot cancel, void or refund an EZ2 ticket once it is accepted by the system. Players have the sole duty of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the EZ2 ticket including the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.

Thus, you need to double-check all the numbers and options you selected before you give the play card to the cashier.

What is Documentary Stamps Tax?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).

PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

February 10, 2021 – PCSO reminds the betting public to not to patronize persons and entities pretending to be employees of PCSO and enticing them to buy tickets online using their platform. To date, PCSO has no online betting platform yet whether through an app, text or calls.
