How to Play EZ2 Lotto

Playing EZ2 Lotto is easy. Here’s the step-by-step instruction for playing this popular digit game:

  1. Select two (2) digits that will comprise your EZ2 combination. You can mark numbers 1 to 31, one number for each column.
  2. If you cannot think of any number combination, mark the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the terminal automatically pick the numbers for you.
  3. Choose Rambolito System Play if you want the system to automatically permutate the possible combinations of the numbers you have picked.
  4. Pick the play amount in the AMT section.
  5. Mark the number of draws you want to join in the Draw section.
  6. Give your playing card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket after it is printed.
  7. After the draw, check the EZ2 result to know if you won the prize.

One EZ2 number combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Make sure to sign the back of the your EZ2 ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a secure and dry place.

Your ticket needs to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket.

Remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the lotto prizes.

How to Play: Using the 2D Lotto playslip, select a set of two (2) numbers from a field of 1 to 31. You can also play the Lucky Pick (LP) if you do not have any number in mind. After marking your chosen numbers, mark the amount that you’re going to play for each combination. Play amount varies from PhP12.00 to PhP600.00 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

In light of the on-going pandemic, EZ2 enthusiasts must observe the following rules and regulations imposed at all PCSO outlets when placing bets to ensure that the minimum health and safety protocols are met.

  1. Always wear your face mask. Bettors with no face mask will not be permitted to buy EZ2 tickets.
  2. Follow physical distancing at all times while in the lotto outlet.
  3. Use your own ball pen when purchasing lotto tickets.
  4. Use the tray provided when handing out your bet slip and payment.

How do I win a prize in EZ2 Lotto?

You win a prize by playing EZ2 in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you choose two (2) numbers, one for each column consisting of numbers 1 to 31.

If your entry matches the EZ2 winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you select Rambolito option in the playing card.

In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize regardless if your chosen number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prize in Rambolito Play is much less than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the EZ2 results in any order.

What does DST stand for?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).

PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

What are the prizes in EZ2 Lotto?

In Standard/Straight play, you win PhP 4,000 if you match the winning combination in exact order.

In Rambolito play, you win PhP 2,000 if you got the winning combination in any order.

How much do I win if I match all the EZ2 winning numbers but NOT in exact order?

You win PhP 2,000 but only if you played the Rambolito option.
