EZ2 Lotto FAQs – All Questions about EZ2 Answered here

How to win a prize in EZ2 Lotto?

You win a prize by playing EZ2 in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you select two (2) numbers, one for each column composed of digits 1 to 31.

If your entry matches the EZ2 winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you choose Rambolito option in the playing card.

In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize regardless if your selected combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prize in Rambolito Play is much lower than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your number combination matches the EZ2 results in any order.

What are the draws to be held by PCSO today, September 5, 2022?

These are the PCSO draws scheduled for today: 2D Lotto (EZ2), 3D Lotto (Swertres), STL, 4D Lotto, Mega Lotto 6/45, and Grand Lotto 6/55.

Please refer to the detailed daily schedule of PCSO lotto draws here.

What is DST?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).

PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

Are EZ2 Lotto Prizes Tax-free?

EZ2 Lotto winnings are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Act because the highest EZ2 winning is only PhP 4,000.

Only winnings exceeding PhP 10,000 are taxable.

How do I play Rambolito?

Rambolito is an EZ2 Lotto game variation that lets its players win prizes even if they did not match the winning numbers in exact order.

With Rambolito, the two possible permutations of your chosen numbers will be generated (e.g. 11-06 and 06-11). If the EZ2 results match your number combination in any order, you take home a prize of PhP 2,000.

To play Rambolito, select the Rambolito option in the EZ2 playing card.

Are 2D Lotto and EZ2 Lotto the same?

PCSO already renamed its EZ2 Lotto game to 2D Lotto. However, a lot of players still call it ‘EZ2’. Hence, this site still uses ‘EZ2’ in some of its articles when referring to 2D Lotto.

I am below 18 years old, am I allowed to play EZ2 Lotto?

PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play the EZ2 Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place due to the on-going COVID-19 epidemic.

How to claim the EZ2 Lotto Prize?

If you won in any of the EZ2 draws today, pay attention to these helpful tips when claiming your prize.

To claim EZ2 Lotto prizes below PhP 5,000, go to the authorized lotto outlet or PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.

Winnings above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at the nearest PCSO branch office.
