How to Play EZ2 Lotto

EZ2 is a popular fixed-prize game of two (2) numbers from One (1) to Thirty One (31). Here’s how you can play the EZ2 Lotto:

  1. Select two (2) digits between 1 to 31, one from each column. These digits will be your EZ2 combination.
  2. Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option lets the system to automatically select the number combination for you.
  3. Mark Rambolito if you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the system automatically permutates and generates all the possible combinations for the digits you chose.
  4. Select the bet amount in the AMT column.
  5. Mark the number of draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
  6. Give your play slip and payment to the teller and get your printed ticket once printed.
  7. View the EZ2 result after the scheduled draw to see if your ticket matches the winning combination.

EZ2 ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Make sure to sign the back of the your EZ2 ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a safe and dry place.

Do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.

Note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim the lotto prizes.

You can also mark “Rambolito” if you want to play the 2D Lotto System bet. The minimum play amount is 12.00 per 2-number combination.

Additional PCSO Rules to be Observed when Playing EZ2 Lotto

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following rules in all lotto outlets in the country.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors without face mask will not be allowed to play EZ2.
  2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
  3. Bring your own pen.
  4. Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Hand sanitizers or alcohols are available in the betting area.
  5. Use the money tray to eliminate contact.
  6. Avoid littering and put away any used play slips or old lotto tickets in the trash cans.

EZ2 Lotto Prizes for Rambolito and Standard/Straight Plays

EZ2 Lotto is one of the digit games of PCSO. In EZ2 Lotto, getting the two (2) winning numbers in exact order wins you PhP 4,000 per 12 peso Standard play.

Playing via the Rambolito gives you a prize of PhP 2,000 if you match the two (2) winning numbers in any order.

How can I win prizes in EZ2 Lotto?

You win a prize by playing EZ2 in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you select two (2) digits, one for each column composed of numbers 1 to 31.

If your number combination matches the EZ2 winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,000.

The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you choose Rambolito option in your bet card.

In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize regardless if your chosen combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prize in Rambolito Play is much lower than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito Play, you win PhP 2,000 if your combination matches the EZ2 results in any order.

You cannot cancel, void or refund an EZ2 ticket after it is printed by the computer. Players have the sole responsibility of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the EZ2 ticket such as the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.

Therefore, you need to verify all the numbers and options you selected before you give the play slip to the teller.

What if I cannot think of any EZ2 number to play?

The Lucky Pick or LP option lets the computer to automatically select the EZ2 number for you if you cannot think of any number to bet on.

To use this option, just select the LP in the playslip.

Do I win anything even if I DO NOT get the EZ2 winning numbers in the same order?

You win PhP 2,000 but only if you selected the Rambolito option.

You do not win anything in Straight or Standard Play if your EZ2 number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.

What is DST?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).

PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

To claim EZ2 Lotto prizes below PhP 5,000, go to the authorized lotto outlet or nearest PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.

Prizes above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at any PCSO branch office.

Lotto winnings above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO head office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.

PCSO Official Announcements & Press Statements

February 10, 2021– PCSO discourages everyone from purchasing tickets from entities claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. The agency confirms it does not have any such platform yet.

January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 6D and 4D Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
