How to Play Swertres Lotto
Follow these complete steps to learn how to play the Swertres game:
- Choose three (3) numbers between 0 to 9, one from each column. These digits will be your Swertres combination.
- Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option lets the computer to randomly generate the numbers for you.
- Mark Rambolito in case you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the system automatically permutates and generates all the possible combinations for the digits you selected.
- Mark your bet amount in the AMT section.
- Choose the number of draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Hand over your play slip and payment to the teller and get your generated ticket once printed.
- Check the Swertres result here after the scheduled draw to see if your ticket matches the winning number combination.
Swertres ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the the Swertres ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Your ticket has to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket.
Remember that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play and claim the lotto prizes.
Matching all your numbers with the winning combination in exact order gives you 4,500.00 for every 12.00 play.

In Standard or Straight Play, a player takes home PhP 4,500 in case he matches all three winning numbers in exact order.
In Rambolito 3play, the bettor takes home PhP 1,500 if he matches one pair of same digit and one different digit in any order while in Rambolito 6 play, the winner takes home PhP 750 in case he gets the three different digits in any order.

Swertres FAQs – Everything you Need to Know about Swertres Lotto
What are the ways to win in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you choose three (3) numbers, one for each column composed of digits 0 to 9.
If your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you choose Rambolito option in the play card.
In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize regardless if your selected combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much lower than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 if your marked number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your chosen combination has one repeating digit.
If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

Do I win anything if I get all the Swertres winning numbers but NOT in exact order?
You win either PhP 1,500 or PhP 750 but only if you marked the Rambolito option.
You do not win anything in Straight or Standard Play if your Swertres number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order.
Who are permitted to play Swertres Lotto?
PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play the Swertres Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place owing to the current COVID-19 epidemic.
How many Advance Draws can I play in Swertres Lotto?
You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just select your preferred number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your Swertres entry shall then be played repeatedly based on the number of draws you picked.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Swertres entry will be valid for the succeeding six (6) Swertres draws.
Are Swertres Lotto winnings tax-exempt?
Swertres prizes are not subject to the 20% tax imposed by the TRAIN Act because the maximum Swertres prize is only PhP 4,500.
Only prizes exceeding PhP 10,000 are taxable.

PCSO News and Official Announcements
February 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the public against purchasing lotto tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. The agency states it has no such system yet in place that will support such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 4D and 6D Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO announces the return of the PhP 20 ticket price of its major games. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 after the TRAIN Act took effect.
