How to Play Swertres Lotto
These are the complete instructions when playing the Swertres Lotto:
- Choose three (3) digits that will compose your Swertres combination. You can select from numbers 0 to 9, one number for each column.
- If you can’t think of any number, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the terminal randomly choose the number combination for you.
- Choose Rambolito System Play in case you want the computer to automatically generate the possible combinations of the digits you have selected.
- Mark your play amount in the AMT section.
- Mark the number of draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
- Give your play card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket once it is printed.
- After the draw, see the Swertres result to know if you won the prize.
Each Swertres combination costs PhP 12. The bet amount varies from PhP 12 to PhP 600, depending on the total number of combinations. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the the Swertres ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.
Remember that you need to be at least 18 years old to play and claim prizes.

How do I win a prize in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you select three (3) numbers, one for each column composed of digits 0 to 9.
If your entry matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Straight/Standard Play is the default play unless you mark Rambolito option in the bet card.
In Rambolito Play, you still take home a prize even if your marked number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much lower than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 if your chosen combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your marked number combination has one repeating digit.
If your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

How do I win in Rambolito?
Rambolito is a Swertres Lotto game variation that allows its players win prizes even if they did not match the winning numbers in exact order.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 or Rambolito 3.
In Rambolito 6, you mark a number combination with three different digits (e.g. 5-8-6), generating a total of six (6) number combinations. If the Swertres winning numbers match your number combination in any order, you receive a prize of PhP 750.
In Rambolito 3, you mark a number combination composed of one repeating digit and another digit (e.g. 8-6-6), resulting to a total of three (3) number combinations. If any of your number combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win a prize worth PhP 1,500.
To play Rambolito, select the Rambolito option in the Swertres play card.
How do I correct the numbers I entered in the Swertres bet slip?
To cancel or disregard a specific Swertres entry, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the play card to the cashier.
Please note that you can only void a Swertres number combination before purchasing the ticket. A Swertres entry that has been printed by the computer can no longer be voided or canceled.
What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
Does PCSO have Swertres draws during holidays?
PCSO usually suspends its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO adjusts its draw schedule in such a way that all draws are completed early in the day.

February 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the betting public against buying tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. PCSO states it has no such system yet in place that will support such transactions.
