How to Play Swertres Lotto
These are the detailed instructions when playing the PCSO Swertres Lotto:
- Mark three (3) numbers between 0 to 9, one from each column. These digits will be your Swertres combination.
- Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option lets the computer to randomly select the number combination for you.
- Choose Rambolito in case you want the Rambolito System Play. With this option, the terminal automatically permutates and generates all the possible combinations for the digits you marked.
- Mark the play amount in the AMT column.
- Choose the number of draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
- Give your play slip and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
- View the Swertres result here after the scheduled draw to see if your ticket matches the winning number combination.
One Swertres combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the your Swertres ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they need to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.
Please remember that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play and claim lotto prizes.
Lucky Pick is also available in the Rambolito System Play, but the option of repeating digits is not applicable.
New Health and Safety Rules to be Followed when Playing Swertres Lotto
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following rules in all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Players without face mask will not be permitted to buy Swertres tickets.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
- Use your own ball pen.
- Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Alcohol or hand sanitizers are available in the betting area.
- Use the money tray to reduce contact.
- Avoid littering and put away used bet slips or non-winning tickets in the garbage bins.

How to win a prize in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you select three (3) numbers, one for each column composed of digits 0 to 9.
If your entry matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you choose Rambolito option in the bet slip.
In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize regardless if your selected number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. However, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 if your selected combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 in case your marked combination has one repeating digit.
If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

How do I play Rambolito?
Rambolito is a Swertres Lotto game variation that allows its players win prizes even if they did not match the winning numbers in exact order.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 or Rambolito 3.
In Rambolito 6, you select a number combination with three different digits (e.g. 0-1-5), generating a total of six (6) number combinations. If the Swertres results match your number combination in any order, you take home a prize worth PhP 750.
In Rambolito 3, you pick a number combination composed of one repeating digit and another digit (e.g. 1-1-3), resulting to a total of three (3) number combinations. If any of your number combination matches the Swertres winning numbers in any order, you receive a prize worth PhP 1,500.
To play Rambolito, mark the Rambolito option in the Swertres bet card.

Are Swertres Lotto Prizes subject to tax?
Swertres winnings are not subject to the 20% tax mandated by the TRAIN Act since the highest Swertres winning is only PhP 4,500.
Only prizes above PhP 10,000 are subject to 20% tax.
Will there be any Swertres draw during Holy Week?
PCSO normally cancels its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO adjusts its draw schedule in such a way that all draws are completed early in the afternoon.
What if I cannot think of any Swertres number to play?
The Lucky Pick or LP option lets the computer to automatically pick the Swertres number combination for you if you cannot think of any number to bet on.
To use this option, just select the LP in the playslip.

February 10, 2021– PCSO warns the betting public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. PCSO states it has no such system yet in place that will cater to such transactions.
