Swertres Lotto is a game of two numbers from Zero (0) to Nine (9). It was renamed in 2019 as “3D Lotto” and has become one of the most popular fixed payout lotteries in the Philippines since its creation in 2002. There are three plays in Swertres Lotto. These are the Standard Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,500, the Rambolito 3 Play which has a prize of PhP 1,500, and the Rambolito 6 Play with PhP 750. The chances of getting these prizes are respectively at 1 in 1000, 1 in 333, and 1 in 167.

How to Play Swertres Lotto
Follow these complete instructions to learn how to play the PCSO Swertres game:
- Mark three (3) digits that will comprise your Swertres combination. You can select from numbers 0 to 9, one number for each column.
- If you cannot think of any number, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the terminal randomly pick the number combination for you.
- Choose Rambolito System Play in case you want the system to automatically permutate the possible combinations of the digits you have picked.
- Mark your bet amount in the AMT column.
- Mark the number of draws you want to play in the Draw section.
- Hand over your bet card and corresponding payment to the teller and get your ticket once it is printed.
- After the draw, view the Swertres result to know if you won the prize.
Each Swertres number combination costs PhP 12 inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the your Swertres ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, soak in water or write anything on your Swertres ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets must be machine-validated when claiming prizes.
Please remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play and claim prizes.
You can also to play the Rambolito. Select a 3-digit number combination and the system will automatically permutate and generate all its possible combinations. In case the selected 3-digit combination has no repeating digits, e.g.123, the number of combinations generated will be six (6). If the selected 3-digit combination has two (2) repeating digits, e.g. 122, the number of combinations generated will be three (3).
Additional Health and Safety Reminders when Playing Swertres Lotto
PCSO has implemented the protocol below to be observed by Swertres bettors nationwide.
- Wear your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting scheme shall be applied in all PCSO lotto outlets nationwide.
- Observe physical distancing when placing Swertres bets.
- Use your own pen to minimize the risk of contracting the virus.
- Place the play slips and cash in the tray provided by the lotto outlet to eliminate physical contact.
- Apply alcohols or sanitizers before leaving the outlet.
- Use the trash cans provided to throw away used bet slips and/or non-winning lotto tickets.

What are the ways to win in Swertres Lotto?
You win a prize by playing Swertres in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.
In Straight Play, you mark three (3) digits, one for each column composed of digits 0 to 9.
If your entry matches the Swertres winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.
The Standard/Straight Play is the default option unless you mark Rambolito option in the play card.
In Rambolito Play, you still receive a prize regardless if your chosen combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much less than in the Straight Play.
With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 if your chosen number combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your selected combination has one repeating digit.
If your combination matches the Swertres results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

I am below 18 years old, am I allowed to play Swertres Lotto?
PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play the Swertres Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic.
What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?
PCSO usually cancels its lotto draws during regular holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO adjusts its draw schedule so that all draws are completed early in the day.

Can I play the same Swertres combination in advance?
You can play up to 6 draws in advance. To play in advance, just pick your intended number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your Swertres entry will then be played repeatedly according to the number of draws you picked.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Swertres combination will be valid for the succeeding six (6) Swertres draws.
How do I claim my Swertres Lotto Prize?

To claim Swertres Lotto prizes below PhP 5,000, go to the authorized lotto outlet or PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.

February 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the public to not to patronize persons and entities pretending to be employees of PCSO and luring them to purchase lotto tickets online using their platform. To date, PCSO has no online betting system yet whether through an app, text or calls.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 4D and 6D Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
